Synopsis: Batman is dead, and a powder keg has ignited Gotham City without the Dark Knight to protect it. In the wake of Bruce Wayne's murder, his adopted son Turner Hayes is framed for his killing. With the charismatic and hard-charging District Attorney Harvey Dent and the GCPD hot on his trail, Turner must rely on allies including his best friend and formidable coder Stephanie Brown, and unlikely Batman sidekick Carrie Kelley. However, they soon learn there is a larger, more nefarious force at work within Gotham City. This team of mismatched fugitives must band together to become its next generation of saviors known as the Gotham Knights.

When you never read a comic book in your life....and now you're a writer for a comic inspired show.
Maybe they read actual books? Maybe you should try that sometime. I'm pretty damn sure the writers did their research. And I'm equally sure we didn't need any more Batman than we already have, and that this was the ONLY comic book inspired live action show I ever loved in quite a few decades.
The problem is, you want the same thing over and over and over and over and over.
And it's just tired, man. Tired and old and worn out. As I know I am, but I suspect you are too. ;)

@@jimmyhackers8980 Duela Dent isn't a new character. She's been around since the 70s. They've retconned her character so many times that she's claimed to be the daughter of almost everyone in Batman's rogues gallery.

Gotham Knights is written very well. I am sure adults wrote the plot of Gotham Knights.
Made for woke audiences. Alfred is now an Asian woman, one of the knights is trans, one is bisexual, Robin is now a black GIRL. Absolutely hate these times we are in. Don't change established icons, create new ones if you must.
Their premiere show got less than 600k people across the United States and Canada. Wokeness doesn't sell. This show will drop below 250k by season's end.

I miss being an idiot. Wth was that at 0:10 ? There was no window dividing the driver section from the inmates? Really? The guard used taser this close range? Some say im nitpicking but this is just lazy writing, and it knocks me out of the immersion, reminding me instantly that im watching a show, and a bad one. 15 years ago I wouldnt mind, but that time has passed :-/
It's absolutely awful dude, people can't call you out on it because it is garbage, as you said no bullet proof screen, and a cop with a gun in the back, the fact that a group of teenagers could take out batman was absolutely ridiculous from the concept. And that his adopted son would be so stupid as to withdraw the payment from his own account would be insulting to a 10 year old
Should have called it " Orphanage" or Gotham City Foster Heroes.
For me it was hard to watch Gotham with young Bruce Wayne but it went somewhere and was more interesting. This just removes anything I was interested in and watching something completely new with no connections to what I like makes it unwatchable for me.
Gotham is light years beyond this show. It's sad how far media has fallen.

We had an actual Batman series. It was called Batman TAS. This is a fine series. Most audiences loved the first episode. Let it soar

Oh this is bad, like really bad. For 1 of your gonna have “Batman’s Son” you need to have it be Damian. 2 if you’re gonna use a black Robin make it Duke Thomas, 3 why is DC letting this happen? It’s an embarrassment and literally an insult to the source material. 4 why not just have a Batman show? If you want it to be gritty, start it off with the Killing of Jason Todd and how Batman becomes tougher on his villains, and introduce Tim Drake Robin ( or Damian) as a guiding light/student to show Bruce that even in failure great things can come out. Then end the Season with a Red Hood teaser. See it’s easy 😏
I still want to know the story in the current Flash series...so I fast forward through most of the dialog and garbage exposition in the episodes. Why CW cant find a single good writer is insane.
They have so many plot holes in the show. One of the dumbest ones that come up constantly is when the Flash loses a normal person in a foot chase
