Try cleaning the seat out with A Q-tip if it keeps on doing that. Yeah if that happened I'd check the water pump out inside of it. I'd try fixing that first. If that doesn't help solve the problem with the dieseling issues then yes then swap out the engine back out again.
If those are out of adjustment.,or bad needle seats will cause over loading.& access fuel usage to continuously flow until you force more into the carburetor.,or carburetor's from float not seating all the way.& Cause A constant air& fuel feed draw inside of the carburetor's on any of those machines.
It’s really hard to get the motivation when there isn’t shit for snow. It’s been pouring rain in Sterling I’m sure the weather ain’t much better where you’re at. seems like a bad start to an Alaskan winter hopin for more snow good to kick back and watch one of your videos after work good or bad it’s always entertaining.
Much respect calling out your own faults too. We all do it and most would cut that out but i think its cool you didnt edit it out . Learn from mistakes right?
Hey I got a question, so I have 2 1998 xc 600 and 700 twins and there leaning out pretty good, the 600 has twins pipes with clutching and but is leaning out at top end. The 700 is a slp 780 that also leans out at top end just not as bad as the 600. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Finally rebuilt all my fuel lines got the Lectron carbs cleaned and put back together, all three of em. Boots to the air box were rotted so doin Uni filters. Its a bored over 1107. I cant remember what octane my old man used to run. I know it was at least av gas. How do you figure what octane to run?
Tried and error. Watch for signs of detonation if possible. I’m to cheap for anything more the AV gas personally. That’s what I ran in my old 800 mods with 170+ cranking compression. Just kept a close eye on it. Timing plays a huge part in it as well.
Check head squish get some solder and turn the engine over slowly and allow the piston to squish the solder against the dome, then measure with a caliper or micrometer if its .50thou and above with stock timing youll be fine with 93-100 octane if its below i would strictly use 106 or c10/c12
Did check the float.,or floats adjustments.& Needle seats down inside the carburetor.,or carburetor's on that snowmobile/ sled.

Opinions on the crank shop 775 kit?
You ever gonna continue the water craft triple build?
I don’t know anything about the CS big bores. I imagine it’s similar to the kits everyone else did though.
I do plan on doing the 1050 build still
Where did you get those decals?
Lucky guy, my 98 XCR 600 is stuck in transit!
Usually does that when hot
Mine did the same during spring time
I like that color combo might find a cone and hood for the ultra
