      Yes. Lots of counterpoint and difficult independent motions going on in level 8. In some ways one might find it harder than Chopins revolutionary etude in lvl 9. Chopin generally has melodies going on while the other hand plays chords, and when both hands are doing stuff, it is pretty linear. They are different types of difficult.

    Non-pianists have no idea how difficult the eighth piece is...That Chopin piece (ninth) sounds amazing to beginners but I won’t even say it is harder than the Fugue. It is like non-pianists would think Fantasie Impromptu is super hard but it is actually one of the easiest “advance” pieces you can play. Just because it sounds fast and fancy doesn’t mean it’s harder, vice versa for the Fugue.

    • @AltoonaYourPiano
      @AltoonaYourPiano 5 лет назад +22

      I completely agree, if anything the big jump is between levels 7 and 8. Especially considering the right hand part for the Chopin song is pretty simple which means most of the difficulty is in the speed of the arpeggios while Bach's Fugue requires mastering countermelodies. Non-pianists and beginners also overestimate the difficulty of the first piece, when in reality it's not much harder than "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" or "Happy Birthday".

    Those saying the gap between 8-9 is huge haven't played Bach fugues. For the uninformed, a fugue is basically the opening melody being repeated in a different spot on the piano while a counter-melody adds to it. Most of Bach's fugues have 3-4 melodies/countermelodies happening at once! The Lv 9 Chopin piece is just a melody and harmony with a lot of fast notes. Both pieces are relatively difficulty, one for being fast and the other for requiring multiprocessing.

      Concentrate segment by segment, hand by hand, and play very slowly if you have difficulty. I had the disgrace of failing to perfect it because I developed bad habits within the piece...if you're at that stage, I suggest giving it a rest for a good week, and returning to it with a fresh start.

      Pata tocar na midia precisa de jaba, nem funk pornografico toca na midia sem pagar. Como quase ninguem pesquisa sobre musica na internet, e so tem como voce escutar o que conhece, o pessoal fica refem a conhecer apenas quem pagar jabá.
      Uma solução para o problema seria se youtube grandes botassem dois videoclips (tem que ser no minimo dois) de musica autoral no final de seus videos. Cada video teria dois (ou mais) videosclipes de uma banda X, no proximo teria da banda aleatorio Y e depois da Z e por ai vai...... Assim o pessoal descobre o mundo da musica sem precisar ir a tras ou a até mesmo descobrir que o mundo musical atual nao existe apenas funk, hip-hop e pop sexualizado.
