Of course, this all assumes you have a huge gift for playing piano along with a daily powerful motivation to keep practicing.
That "huge gift" is a myth. You need proper, consistent practice, yes.
@@brunolucas8317 Hi Bruno, I was speaking from personal experience. After 3 months of consistent 1 hour daily practice, my proficiency was a bit less than Vinheterio's 1 week level.
@@billharris6886 The people you're calling gifted practice 8 hours a day.
I have been practicing 3 hrs a day for about 2 months and i can learn 6 to 10 bars a session, it's sfo frustrating how slow i am
@@iagher but still....I just recently reached my third year and can barely play the Blue Danube...the mind frame to access the skill and knowledge to do this takes more time for some and less for others.
This is the first time I've heard the Lord of the Piano actually speak. That was an hour ago, and I'm still trembling a little.

Respect for what ? For bad piano playing ??

THANK YOU
I play piano for 11 years
Not just being very talented but he also has a great sense of humour
Listening to him play reminds me of all the special times sitting beside my grandmother at the piano (she was a professional pianist) as she played all my favorites for me. Thanks to
Vinheteiro!

Love to have grandma like her!
We all did the "one minute playing piano" just once
Everybody who touched a piano did.
I actually never did, for some reason my classes never covered it.
Out of curiosity, what is it called?
@@jeremyabrahamson2872 it's called literally 'fist play'
@@icespirit7829 Please, don't Google "fist play" 🤣🤣🤣
Not late very early
I've been playing piano for 12 years, and I'm still not as good as this guy at 6 months
This is very inaccurate
@@viksinha5410
Yeah, you right
I'm still not as good as 1 week
Q-Q
Same here! I’ve been playing for 12 years as well and I just finished Debussy’s golliwogs cakewalk ;-;
Doesn´t matter, are you having fun? So carry on!
Agreed
This is a very good guide for many piano students who have this question in mind as to how long it takes to attain a certain proficiency for certain songs. I think we should consider 3 other factors as well: A. The amount of time a piano student has for practice. B. His natural talent for music. C. The intensity of his love for music. Each of these factors can affect his progress. The progress is likely to be a rollercoaster ride, with ups and downs. If you can never achieve your goals, should you give up? I would say definitely "no". Play music for the love of it. Just be happy and enjoy it. It doesn't matter if you can never be a professional.😊
From my position as an instrumentalist and music theory teacher, I confess that I have never seen such a player, his way of playing and his communication with his audience. He begins to play, from the second of the note A E C, and he ends these ten years with a chord in C sharp, D flat. This video motivates anyone who loves learning to play the piano.
thanks so much for that bit of information 😋🌷🌱
You need to get out more. You can start with exploring some other RUclips channels too lol
He is a jerk as a person but still veeerry funny and talented. So, I love him. 😂
And he's not into just on one type, goes from classical to ragtime. I don't think ist that easy.
I have dabbled with piano for years but never made it past "2 hour" level 😢
Same for me, maybe even less than 2 hr, lol. Just too easy for him, lol.
Well let's see. After 1 week he's playing Bach's Minuet in G, which is grade 3.
After 1 month he's playing The Entertainer, originally grade 8! (though easier arrangements exist.)
After 2 months he drops back to grade 5 (hmmm) for Fur Elise.
After 6 months he's already into Ronda Alla Turca, grade 10😮
After 4 years it's back to grade 9 for Maple Leaf Rag, then after 5 years we're back in grade 10 for Claire De Lune.
Give yourself credit for making music and don't take this guy too seriously.
The first few months of playing piano are arduous, and it feels like you don’t improve at all. But this video shows a huge leap in the first six months, followed by a much slower realistic progress
If thats the case then something is wrong. I took one month for me to learn minute waltz

Great Sir, thank you for sharing your music . From Texas
I never got up to the 2 hour mark. I became an accountant.
Good!
Take me 2 years to get to your 'one week of playing piano' 😂😂😂
Lol! Amen!
yeah, it seems so.
Not playing here and there over a one week period, 'one week' as in 168 hours of actual playing, which at half an hour per day comes to 11 months. 😺😺😺
i love piano but i can't afford it so i found a way on my channel 😉
Yeah this is super unrealistic tbh I've been learning for 6 months and I'm nowhere near even playing the entertainer
@Vinheteiro You have a lot of faith in a few hours of piano practice. I had to take piano lessons in school and after an entire year I couldn’t play the left hand parts of *any* piece’s whatsoever 😅
What took you 1 month month took me a year, then 2 months and 6 months took me about a week each. I’m self-taught and the hardest part for me was just reading the sheet music but now I’m writing my own sheet music for already known songs
What a beautiful voice.
Many of my favorite non-commentary RUclipsr have disappointed me when they voice-reveal, but you have greatly surprised me, in a good way!

I like your style - it's funny to watch you plus you're a really good pianist.
Two things:
1: Your playing never ceases to amaze me. Your videos have me wanna learn classical pieces. Fantastic playing skills. Your 10 years definitely shows.
2: What would be the song title at 2:35?
It's a part of a piece called "Clair de lune" by Debussy if I remember correctly

You learned it very fast. In two hours I only can play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and in one year, Für Elise (simplificated).
He speaks...incredible
I'd love to learn to play the piano, my wife says I'm not to old to learn at 64! I enjoy watching the channel, it looks easy when you play the piano , I remember when I was at school and was left alone with at lunch time , I asked if I could spend my lunch break in the empty classroom and
" have a go " at playing the piano.
I managed, on my own to duplicate the first part of
" let it be" by the Beatles which was quite popular at the time.
I was able to sing to the notes st the same time, quite an achievement for a 14 year old with no experience.
I enjoy watching your channel.
You make it fun to watch
Thank you
No - you are not too old to learn. However, depending on how much you practice and whether you have a good teacher or not will depend on how far you can go.
@@edsherrod5216 thank you, im sure I will find a teacher one day,

This list must be made for prodigies or something because I have been taking piano lessons for about 6 years and am current learning this man's 1 year song lmao
Yeah....I'm a piano teacher and his 1 week song is at least 1 year for most people. And that's only if you remove the ornaments.
His 2 month song, Fur Elise, is a Grade 7 piece which usually takes people 8 years to achieve.

I have been playing piano for 12 years but to play the last song well, it still takes me hours and hours of hard work. It's the life of a pianist.
The last song is generally regarded as one of the hardest piano pieces ever so that's still pretty good. Most people who play piano will never be able to play it.

Grande Lord Vinheteiro! 👏👏
Maravilha. Está começando a tocar The Entertainment.
Nossa! Show demais!!!
Rarely anyone progresses this fast, I feel bad 😫
