    Isn't it adorable? The same players who’ve sold out every manager now want Van Nistelrooy to stay! Maybe they think he’ll sprinkle some magic dust and suddenly turn them into champions. Spoiler alert: it won’t work. If Amorim is coming in, he definitely needs his own crew-not a bunch of players who can’t follow a simple game plan. Plus, let’s be honest-Van Nistelrooy has his own agenda, and it probably doesn’t include babysitting this squad of underperformers. Time for him to pack his bags and let Amorim build a real team, because this lot isn’t worth saving!

    • @carlboss8105
      @carlboss8105 8 дней назад +1

      @tsayumsolomon7216 Blaming only the players overlooks a bigger issue: a team’s culture, strategy, and leadership are just as responsible for success or failure. Players perform best in a system that’s stable and built with a clear vision-something United has struggled with since Ferguson left. Even with Ten Hag’s investments, without unity and purpose, talent alone doesn’t translate to results.
      Can individual players truly thrive if the foundation and culture around them keep shifting? Now that Amorim is here, perhaps it’s time to rebuild from the ground up, not just reshuffle names on the team sheet.

  • @muhammeddiab723

    Nicky is spot on. We all know this. Players need to be worried. All of them. But the problem is that some of those players have the backing of the Glazers. It's been this way for years. It's the reason why Ole had to apologize to Rashford for his comments about him. I just hope that INEOS can change this and make ANY player understand that they are not irreplaceable.

      Looking at his record at SP Braga and then Sporting, Ruben is someone who likes to have "his players". He does give the chance to the ones that were already there, but if they don't follow the plan that he setup he has shown to have no issues in putting those players "aside", even on situations where the only alternative were the youth from the Academy.
      I do hope that the Glazers know this because Ruben is not someone to let others interfere with his work.

  • @ruisantos8070
    @ruisantos8070 16 дней назад +21

    No fear is required. Amorim is not the boogie man.
    He will simply say something like, I don't know what you've done in the past, nor do I care. We are starting today, this is the training session of the day. According to the player's effort/performance in the training sessions he will pick the first line up and if some big shot has any issue with that, there's another training session the next day where he can prove Amorim was wrong.
    It's up to the players not to Amorim to do their own clean up. He'll just set the standard that it's in the training sessions prior to the game that you secure your place in the team. It's simple and non-confrontational. Players know the rules, if they are not happy for being left out, all they have to do is run more in the next training or find another place.
    That's all.

    Any professional player in the top 5 European league's should be giving their all for the club, sadly many don't and especially in the premier league are happy to accept obscene wages knowing that they are going to be very difficult to move on due to those wages.
    Teams like City and Liverpool obviously have players on high wages but between them in the past 10 seasons they have both challenged every season for trophies and they have a rather good team cohesion, working for the team and showing passion for the badges. If man United ever wants to be back at the top rather than a mid table club then they need to be brutal and ruthless in cutting out the deadwood and bringing in players who will play the badge rather than the wages.

    I think the problem with being recognized is because Nicky Butt still looks like he's 30. If I saw him (and I'm a United fan for 40+ years) I'd think 'that guy looks like a younger version of Nicky Butt'

    Quite a few years ago I was at the Hale Barnes deli and I saw this young punk kid get out of this huge silver Mercedes and he was absolutely half crippled he could hardly walk I realised it was Nicky butt I wish I’d gone and said hello to him, but I could see that he was in some serious pain and then I looked up where he had been and he had played the day before for United against Newcastle and he had given 100% effort so no wonder he was crippled. obviously he would recover over the next few days, but I’ve just watched a video and hats off to you Nicky butt as I thought you knew how to play for United and you’re absolutely spot-on that today’s players don’t seem to give that level of effort.

    You listen to the old guard NB, Keano, Scholes, etc, and they feel into the club. They have their feet on the ground. Salt of the earth. They feel the sensations of betrayal by the money-men. They appreciate the sacrifice that the working people of Manchester make to build pride into their club. And that’s what’s gone: the connection with the streets of Manchester, replaced by glitzy cars, Rolexes, haircuts and prawn sandwiches.

    Zirkzee apparently was not an EtH signing. Same goes for Ugarte. Marzaoui looks a decent signing. Hojlund should come good. Casemiro was a typical Glazers panic buy. Only major flop would be Antony. So the Ineos people were planning ahead anyhow. EtH is being slaughtered for everything bad in the club. Not to say he doesnt have to shoulder any of the reponsibility. But if the Ineos people were not confident with EtH, then they should have gone for someone else in the summer. Win-Win for both.

    Amorim’s team dismantled City on the counter. Ole at Man Utd dismantled Pep’s team on the counter. Every time other teams try to beat Man City with possession play they get pummelled. The only way to beat Pep’s teams is defend well and then have fast players to hit them devastatingly on the counter.

    Dear Simon Jordan, he's good enough, really. Give him a reasonable period of time to work things out. He has been more than good enough since day 1 of his career. If the players aren't committed, he'll also sort that out, no issues there.

    Simon is so dramatic. Amorim should ignore an interview request from Liverpool or West Ham? For gods sake it triples his salary and it's the biggest league in the world. Almost every coach outside the league is saying pick me pick me.

    They allowed TH to stay because he won an FA cup. It's called a bit of a gamble., and I don't think any of the summer signings were Ten Hag's. So, nice narrative but it was quite a nuanced situation.

    Everyone panicking over nothing. In the premier league you only need 4-5 back to back wins to be at the opposite end of the table.
    There are 3 pts between 14th and 7th position. So if Utd pull off some form and get some momentum they could be sitting 6th by February. As long as they don't have too many injuries like last season there is still something to aim for.

    Ruben Amorim seems to be a great coach in his own league but not proven in Europe. Time will likely be given the same fate as all the other previous managers they've had since there last top class manager (Mourinho).

  • @Chris-ju5un
    @Chris-ju5un 9 дней назад

    United don't have elite players. They have a lot of young lads from the third or fourth shelf of elite young talent, and pay them 50%+ more than any other team would. So it's created a a poisonous culture of divas. United have just spent another £250m but need another squad overhaul.
    Amorim will do the same as Ten Hag. Great coach, great potential, used to working with humble men who want to improve. In a month he will be amazed at what a fish bowl the place is. Nobody in current management can bring the club "back". If Amorim gets MUFC back to top 4 in the current league climate he's done a seriously good job. City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Villa etc are all miles ahead.
