I’d argue losing a pet IS the same as losing a child, if it feels that way to you then there’s nothing wrong with feeling that way. Of course some people won’t understand but that doesn’t change the validity of your feelings. I’m so sorry for your loss btw, I lost my grandpa August 8th 2019. He was basically my dad, and honestly there’s just no correct way to grieve. Also, on the glasses front!! Idk if this info is too late (I hope it isn’t) but if you haven’t checked out Zenni Optical please do! It’s an online glasses store and they’re soooo much cheaper than anywhere else. I got my glasses, prescription lenses, cute frames, and transitioning lenses for around $70. And they fit great and work perfect too! You just get your prescription, select your frames, and add the prescription info. ^__^ Also, I feel you on the ssi thing >~< it is such a suffocating feeling to try to apply for disability and get turned down over and over. Honestly I recommend a lawyer because it’s just ridiculous otherwise, I ended up not having a lawyer and I’ve just gave up on it for the time being... I hope things turn out better for you! I’m in a similar situation with financial issues and chronic illnesses (we think it’s eds) so I know how a lot of this feels. Your hair is super cool btw! I recently on impulse shaved my head bc my sensory issues lmao but now I’m a little sad that I can’t really dye it pink anymore lol
