"Because, ya know.. I'm not that important." Well if the nearly 100,000 subscribers isn't that big, you're probably one of the only people on earth that would dare to explore a place like this. This is one of my favorite channels, and it definitely deserves more attention. There are urban exploration videos with just some kids and a GoPro that get more views, and that just makes no sense. Every one of these videos has such a professional, but honest feel to it.

This is Dan Bell. Have you ever thought of doing a Dead Airport Series? I've heard of several in Pennsylvania. Not sure if there are any in Maryland. But it might be an intriguing subject. Just an idea. I LOVE your videos. I've been binge watching them since Saturday. Your Dead Mall Series is my favorite so far. Please keep making these. If you hooked up with Rob Zombie to make vids, that would be GENIUS! Just sayin. I think you're THAT good! You and Will Rock!

I've been thinking that anyone who might see you going into buildings with all of your equipment might think you're city or government workers going in to check it out, investigate something, or something else official, and that THAT might be part of what keeps people from messing with you. It's one thing to eff with a couple of regular guys poking around, quite another to mess with someone out on assignment from some agency, that would know where you were and be expecting you back. Those uncool looking respirators and your big camera might be working in your favor that way! :)

got bored/curious and looked it up, built in 1950 and over 230,000 sqft... massive building, its owned by a prop management and listed as a storage warehouse I wonder why they never did anything with it after the fire.

Master meat cutter Alexander "Buddy" Bostick worked there until the plant closed in the 70s.He died in 2010 in Baltimore at age 105 years.There is an amazing write up of him on findagrave.com.Weird thing:he died May 19,2010.Albert Goetze,founder,died May 18,1973.Couldn't find any deaths related to people actually passing in the factory itself,but after seeing it,I'm sure it has happened somewhere along the line....

The inside of the factory is like a different world or a parallel universe. Once inside it seems that that's all there is. I'm going to have to see if I can find some pictures of the exterior---for my own well-being!

My dad would take me exploring abandoned houses and buildings when I was just a boy. We would go on bike rides in the country and come across some old abandoned places. I never ever felt afraid because my pops was fearless, lol. I kinda wanna get back into it.
I miss Will. He is so witty and funny without trying to be.
I see alot of people commenting about how much they liked Will but to be honest I never liked it when he was on commentary. I dont know what it is but something about his voice and the way he laughs constantly annoys the crap out of me. Im glad he's not in too many videos.

just watched this Cutting Room Floor trilogy last night and its my new favorite. That was one of the most interesting and scary of your explores. I'll have to go back and watch the original videos.
They do make respirators that are more like darth vader-esque face masks. If you're too pink-conscious I guess that's an option. But if your choice is mold clouds or pink respirator, I would pick the clean air every time.
It would be cool someone could research the history behind the locations for Dan since he doesnt have the time. Would make the videos even more interesting.

@9:08 I started to go in that building until I saw the floor covered with human poop, shined my light around and there was someone standing in a corner, literally just looking at the wall. They didn't move either, idk if they were sleeping standing up or tripping on drugs. But there are definitely homeless people in that building.

Congratulations on the article in your lokal news paper. To my oppinion, the meat factory is the most thrilling film you have made so far and not many people have the balls to go into a place like that. Most people wouldnt even stop their car near by.
