Hi Mat British Standard Pipe (BSP) over here there was tons of it all my working life, I don't care what system we use so long as it one system for everything.
I installed a lot of hydraulic couplers on excavators when I worked for the dealer. Every one I ever installed came with instructions to not use the pins that come with the coupler to install to the stick because they are not hardened, and will damage the stick. You were supposed to reuse the pins that were on the manual coupler, and the pins that come with the hydraulic coupler are meant to be installed on a bucket.
Hello Matt, it sure is cool to see you working on your projects in a nice shop. I have to agree that JIC or flat face are the best! I know you are going to have fun working the case now. God Bless.
I am also working on my new workshop, and yes even here in Sweden it costs alot to get power, my price for 750m / ½ mile is aprox 40000 usd or 430000 sek. this is for 3 phase 11000V to a transformer that i can get 3x400V up to 450A if i want. Shop is for repairing Mining Equpiment, Heavyduty Welding of large buckets and repairs of generally large machinery. I am going to make it a youtube series. atm we are doing prep on the ground getting the stumps and green stuff of, then we level it...easy to work ground 5 - 6 meters (17 - 20ft) of sand. As for hydraulic fittings i dislike Jic and O ring fittings strongly. I pref G fittings, (oppsite cone of jic) since they are easier to get started and you get a good stop feeling when they are tight, jic sorta never stops until they strips. (G and BSP is same pitch but BSP is coned and G is straight. for sealing i pref Tredo washers (Washer with rubber vulcanized to them). Anyways thanks for another good watch🙂 Sorry for my lack of English grammar.
A Very impressive task you have completed there Matt, and it works even better than you expected it to. I look forward to seeing man and machine in action again soon. Thumb is Awesome Matt And The quick Connect Is also Sweet Heck yeah that thumb swings wide Heck Yeah New Bucket Is Gorgeous Looks Grest on that machine Matt 57:04 @Diesel Creek
PLEASE BRING BACK THE INTRO MUSIC. Personally I hate youtube intros but those 6 notes from the supervillians seem pretty satisfying knowing the cont that they bring.
The only intro I don’t immediately fast forward! Love his.
He still does that intro too. Matt has three intro "styles," the "running over the camera," the "straight into the action," and the "drone shots with music."
@@SpawnofChaos yes we know. I’m campaigning for full theme song all the time. It’s too good!
Pretty slick kit. Even i could install this one.
Thanks for the great content Matt.
Holy cow! The old Bobcat made an appearance! I got to say your welding helmet reminds me of Evil Kinevel
Great video Matt!! 👍👍
Yeah, I caught that too.
Almost didn't recognize it without the steel tracks.
That thumb, bucket and coupler combo turned that case into a weapon! Thanks for sharing the experience with us.
this excavator is gonna eat some trees
Thank you for purchasing a made in Canada bucket! It's nice that we still make something in Canada and haven't offshored.
TIL that Ohio is in Canada. Wait...
Are we hearing a house build? Exciting taking out the pink dotted trees and get it opened up!
I’m loving videos about current projects getting done, rather than collecting future projects. That thing is going to be handy!
Matt, congratulations on hitting 3/4 of a million subscribers !!! My first post and I have been watching for a couple of years now. Keep up the great work.
Hi Mat British Standard Pipe (BSP) over here there was tons of it all my working life, I don't care what system we use so long as it one system for everything.
That thumb and bucket combo work great. Wunderbar!
Afternoon Matt watching from Edinburgh Scotland UK 🇬🇧 👏 👍 Great Video 📹 Matt 👍
Thanks 👍
It’s always a good morning when you wake up and see a Diesel Creek video added.
Matt and his toys and tools. You have way too much fun with your projects. Thanks for sharing with us.
Once you clear that area, it should be a good place for a home.
Makes sense
I’ve never heard that but that’s what I did…. Except the thumb pin you don’t have a choice it’s long and you need that
Then why do they include pins at all?
@@dcviper985, For the pin that stays on/in the bucket.
I see the old bobcat and i expect to hear some of the older soundtrack music 😂
Cool! My first thought was 'good! now he can get on with killing trees!' Remember dream shop not done till the last tree hits the ground.
New home site?
That's a sweet machine. Very accurate fine controls and now with a thumb that can rip down trees or pickup a a bag of marshmallows.
Great video, Matt. Looking forward to many, many, more of this quality! Keep Smiling!
A great way to start off a Sunday morning. Thanks for these interesting and informative videos.
felt like christmas to even watch this! even though the math in imperial units is blowing my mind lol
Clearing trees? Must be time to build that dream home. Awesome😁
Poor trees
Hello Matt, it sure is cool to see you working on your projects in a nice shop. I have to agree that JIC or flat face are the best! I know you are going to have fun working the case now. God Bless.
Thanks!
Thanks a lot!
Anyways thanks for another good watch🙂
Sorry for my lack of English grammar.
9:03 Wow! You're a surgeon with the excavator! Impressive! 👍
I was good with the old one, this will take some getting used to
Love all the trouble of drawing square lines, and then when it's welded on at 19:47 it's all crooked anyway :) haha
A Very impressive task you have completed there Matt, and it works even better than you expected it to. I look forward to seeing man and machine in action again soon. I would also like to complement you on your video making and editing skills too, that is something else you have down to a fine art.
Many thanks David in the UK.
Way to go. Thats the best looking working Thumb I ever saw
