Seems like the LEGO games have really been stepping it up lately, honestly. After I played some of Marvel Superheroes 2, I felt kinda stung. But, the Incredibles game, while short (and admittedly, also probably a cash-in with the second movie's release) was some good fun. I'll definitely be picking this up since the character creator looks to be the best yet, all the voices actually sound like the characters, and LEGO games are just fun and big

This was the first game to finally get the customization character details right. Capes, superpowers, abilities, colors, weapons, invulnerabilities. Its amazing. Cant get enuf of that. If it wasnt a lego game. The customization:id compare it close to dc universe' online character creations. But here its free.
The voice cast more than anything is what's drawing me into this game. Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill, Clancy Brown, Tara Strong, Susan Eisenberg, Michael Rosenbaum, Michael Ironside, freaking Gilbert Gottfried as Mxyzptlk! I'm back in the good ol' late 90's early 00's again! 😁

There's no doubt Red Dead Redemption was praised; although, it was released around a time where Rockstar was putting out tons of games like GTA IV, LA Noire, Midnight Club: LA, and the GTA IV expansions so it wasn't as hyped up as Red Dead Redemption 2 is. It also didn't have the GTA V treatment of marketing and advertising (we're talking possibly $100+ million in marketing costs). GTA V is almost the best selling videogame of all time, behind Minecraft and Tetris- and even surpassed Wii Sports which came with every Wii console sold. Now, seeing the history of GTA V's hype and success, Rockstar is finally releasing a game after an almost 6 year hiatus. While Red Dead Redemption wasn't the most hyped up game at its release, it's always been a respected title and saw mostly 5/5 and 95%+ ratings... while this isn't GTA, it really is like we're getting another GTA sequel. Depending on who you ask, a Red Dead Redemption sequel is way better than a GTA sequel- but that's subjective and I won't argue with anyone who says otherwise.
red dead redemption was one of the somewhat hidden gems among critics and player-base alike of the last gen. since then rockstar has delivered past our expectations with their games and it's very exciting to see what they can do with this IP with essentially an unlimited pool of resources. the Western genre is wide open and there is no developer that i'd trust more to bring us a grounded yet action packed, narrative driven, open world western game. thats basically why
LEGO DC Super-Villains looks like a really fun game. However, I can't justify paying full price for a LEGO video game, but that's just my opinion. With that aside, thanks again Karak for another great review. I really appreciate it!

I like the Lego games but my main issue is the options menu has been a joke for awhile, like why even program it when you do nothing with it?? I need to be able to flip vertical camera control... otherwise decent games despite some bugs...

It would be nice if the devs actually put time into making sure the game itself ran well. Lego Marvel 2 crashed on me over dozens of times and it was one of the things that made that game such a chore to play for me.
it always surprises me how much better lego games are at 60fps i recently sold lego marvel 2 on switch then got the pc version because it was just not fun with a low framerate

That's why I like the fact that the PS4 PRO has boost mode just to have it run all little more stable with less screen tearing and a higher frame rate.

i always loved to beat up mods of crimials or do missiion like in marvel without getting golden brick but with vilains i dont like it i play most hero so it boring for me there area no areas to fight criminals.
I can never tell if the recommendation to check out Reddit or Twitter following "or if you didn't [like it]" is directing people to ACG-related content there or just herding them off to be with the other a-holes prevalent on those platforms.

Do you have to create your own villain or can you just play as the villains the game already has ? Tara strong as Harley in my opinion just doesn’t go with mark hammiles joker sry she was just a pinch annoying even in the 2 Arkham games
