Well it's not all about unprotected sex I used to work for a syringe exchange program for heroin addicts where they can come in and exchange their old syringes for new ones so we can keep the affection down but in places like Florida or the South they don't have syringe exchange programs so they're resorting to using the same dirty needles and it's a lot of heterosexual black people using then they go sleep with other people and affect them either they're sharing the same dirty syringes or they're out here having unprotected sex knowing they are using drugs and not using clean syringes now we can't stop people from shooting up but at least we can do is fight for a syringe exchange program in the south

Well it's not all about unprotected sex I used to work for a syringe exchange program for heroin addicts where they can come in and exchange their old syringes for new ones so we can keep the affection down but in places like Florida or the South they don't have syringe exchange programs so they're resorting to using the same dirty needles and it's a lot of heterosexual black people using then they go sleep with other people and affect them either they're sharing the same dirty syringes or they're out here having unprotected sex knowing they are using drugs and not using clean syringes now we can't stop people from shooting up but at least we can do is fight for a syringe exchange program in the south

I do not need a Ph.D in Biomedical Research to determine the reasons that HIV, has impacted the black communities, in the United States. I am aware of certain underlying social issues, affecting blacks, and I am the first to admit, that people of color, may have difficulty securing quality health care. However, I am a realist, and the reality is, is that black people, by and large, engage in risky sexual behavior. Dating Apps, as well as the Hip Hop sub-culture, somewhat glorifies sexual behavior. Other factors include a vast number of black men, who are on the downlow, and black men, who have done time in prison, then return to the outside world to have sex with multiple partners. Equally bad, is that black women, who are supposedly the most "educated", typically do not know, or care to know, about the risks associated with "sexual" liberation. There is a wealth of information on the Internet, but black women tend to get their sexual information by watching Sukihana or Sexyy Red. For about 40 years, we have blamed HIV on everything, from politics to peanut butter. However, nothing has changed, except the calendar.
Our mindset is ALLLLLLL screwed when it comes to truly taking care of our sexual and overall health. No one is to blame but the person in the mirror. We all have choices and some that we make are beyond piss poor.
