Thank you so much! She is we are so happy for that 😊❤️ yeah! I’m excited for the fruit when they are old enough to produce! It’s so exciting to finally start putting in trees and things like that! 😃
Recently found you guys! Absolutely love your content! Something about this video though, the way you all captured the beauty in every moment. The way the sunlight hit the leaves of the trees and the beauty of your property against the mountains. It was a definitely a work of art and I enjoyed it! Good work and I'm so excited to see more! ❤️
I really like the format I like seeing day to day and knowing what month or day it is. Those are fruit trees we had a cherry tree and an apple tree in our back yard when I was a kid. Looked like the mules got along well. Hey when will the coffee be available I saw it was out of stock thanks kray
Thank you Kray! We are so glad you like it! Oh shoot, sorry that it’s out of stock there. They have it on the website www.cafemule.com and be sure to use the code MTNBUILT if you purchase anything so you get the 15% off 😊👍🏼
You guys will blow up with these videos! This is absolutely the formula to gain a loyal fan base. You guys seem extremely genuine and are quite likeable. God bless you on your journey.
Wow! Thank you so much for taking time to leave such an encouraging comment- we really appreciate it! Thank you for watching, and God bless you as well!! 😊
I like the day to day stuff. U 2 remind me of me and my hubby setting up our farm. Long gone are the cattle, but its nice to relive memories vicariously thru you! Keep shining!!!
Thank you so much!! 😊 that sounds amazing! Love hearing about other husband/wife teams that do this kind of stuff together! ❤️ we appreciate you taking the time to write a comment, we love hearing everyone’s stories! 🙂
great slice-of-life content. thank you. more please. :) josey had the zoomies, and from this side of the screen, it appears she is fitting in fine with the herd. that has to be a relief for you both. PS: viewer request: alyssa: i remember you mentioning that you were a taxidermist, and even took us on a tour of your workshop. have you considered documenting a start-to-finish taxidermy project for the channel? i inherited a deer head trophy from a hunt my father did in 1969. i was 5 at the time. i still remember that harvest, and then, my father bringing home the mounted head. it still looks like it is 1969. taxidermy has always fascinated me, and it would be great to see how it is all done. cheers.
Thank you so much for the feedback! We really appreciate it! Haha she really did! It probably felt so good to stretch her legs after being in that round pen for several weeks! It’s a huge relief they all get along for sure! She is keeping everyone in line now 😂😂👍🏼 We have definitely thought about that! Jason’s lifesize bighorn sheep is coming up in the workflow and I thought that might be a really neat one to show the process on 😃
Thanks for the idea's, and inspiration. Ive added (divided) a few more pastures for better rotation. Now off to Nebraska for some trail riding before it gets too hot!
Awesome!! You’ll have to let us know how the additional pastures work for you 😊 Have fun in Nebraska! It’s such a great time of year to be out riding 😊
Hey is it me or has Josey shot up in height? She is getting to be a right little handful 😂 The others were so good with her 😇. As for the video, I love this type of content, day to day is never boring. Watching you all sort the ranch as you dreamed and seeing it develop is great, keep going. 🙏 Not saying when you take us along for adventures isn’t great. I think whatever you do at the moment is fine by your fans. Learning all things Mule is great too. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️
Thank you so much! We really appreciate the feedback! 😊🙌🏼 haha yes! We are so thankful that the herd was kind to her! She is a fiery little thing 😂😂😂 We were thinking the same thing… that she looks a little taller! Might be wishful thinking but she’s getting the nutrients she needs to grow big so we hope she does! 😊
I like the format for the intent of the video; it really fits the different activities you were doing. Josey is fitting right in and I believe that is because you are not rushing things. I think your place is looking better and better all the time. I got a good chuckle when Alyssa reminded Jason that you have a mule alley not a horse alley. 🤠
Haha thank you! We figured we would try out a little more day to day stuff but ultimately you all have to enjoy it! Haha! 😂 we are trying to show more of the silly moments on our videos as well lol!
Thank you so much! We definitely plan to and that’s exactly what we hoped for! To share ideas and dreams on smaller acreages ☺️🙌🏼 we appreciate your time to leave a comment, we enjoying hearing from all of our viewers! 🙂
Haha thank you! I’m glad you enjoy this type of content! We want to make sure we don’t put out boring stuff LOL Haha he does! His mom was actually a cutting bred quarter horse! 😂🙌🏼
love this style! taking us along around the property and with chores helps us learn and live vicariously! love the wilderness rides too and any mule training stuff you've got :) I'm vegan so the hunting is less my thing but LOVE everything else :)
Thank you so much!! We appreciate you taking the time to leave such a wonderful comment 😊 I’m so glad you enjoy it! We just went camping with the mules so we will be posting a video from that trip soon too and there are never ending projects ☺️
I am completely green to owning an equine. My question to you guys is, do you think getting horse lessons would be a good idea to get familiar with just being around equine. I live in pa and mules arent a big thing, i dont think anyway. So would general horse lessons translate to being around mules, or totally different t??
I think lessons would be a great idea as long as you find the right instructor. If you can find one that is really big on horsemanship then that would translate to mules well. We really like buck Brannaman and that type of horseman. There is a man named Ty Evans that does mule clinics all over. I would check out his website www.tsmules.com and go audit a clinic near you this coming year. He also has a great podcast called “everyday Mulemanship” I would ask the instructors if they have ever had any experience with mules and how it went. You want to find someone who not only has experience with mules but has also been successful with them so that they can help you along the way if need be! ☺️ always feel free to ask us anything, our email is on our RUclips home page. We are always happy to help.
I love the video format! I too live on some acreage and know how much work it takes to keep it up! Your place is looking good and love how you're making work for your needs! I like the hunting and riding videos but this format is also fun! Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much!! We can’t wait to look back at these videos in a couple years and see how much progress we’ve made on the place! We will definitely have more trail rides, camping trips, hunting etc. but I’m so glad that you enjoyed this style as well! 😊
2 great tips, I built a compost pile out of old railroad ties with 3 sides and just tossed everything in it and it was backed up to an old shed and at the end of the day 2nd spring I had tossed in cantelope rins in the back and the vine grew up and over my shed and the cantelopes where hanging like grapes and huge and I'm not kidding, and I had a friend by Barbadou groats a male and female, and they would only eat weeds and the just roamed the place and kept it clean of weeds and he didn't have to spray and he had cutting horses, chickens, dogs and cats too.
Hahaha! Thats amazing! That would be something to see 😊 And goats would be super fun. If we ever have a bigger property, we’d totally look into getting a few!

Here's a tip my 9yr old son and i were digging post holes and at about 12-14" ground got super hard. Son says dad why don't we fill the hole with water. I will admit my boy is a sharp dude in his early 30's now.
Thank you so much! 😊 We try to train the dogs to stay out of the mule pen because we have two mules that especially don’t like dogs (depending on their mood) lol
Thank you so much! We’re having a great time fixing up our little place 😊 And the snow is melting off in the high country, so we should be able to go on some fun rides real soon! 🙌🏼

love your ranchstead, was curious how you keep the dogs from getting kicked by the mules as equestrians instinctively dislike canines?

By itself chicken poop is very "hot" with nitrogen. In cold weather it will steam.
