I love when people first see Robby Steinardt (big hair guy) playing violin. Kansas totally is it!

Besides the beautiful musicianship and voices with harmonies, I love the lyrics. Don't waste your life because it goes by so fast and you can't take it with you. Value everything.

This song was originally written as a guitar finger picking exercise and the writer's wife suggested he add lyrics.

      As well as
      Miracles Out of Nowhere
      Paradox (live 1978)

Modern man thinks he has become the equal of God, Gods themselves, but he is simply a “drop of water in an endless sea”. As the chorus states, “all we are is dust in the wind”.

This is basically the theme of the Book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible, though I don't know if Kerry Livgren (blond guitarist), who wrote it, thought about it in that way yet. Thankfully, he became a Christian later on. This is and Carry On Wayward Son (also by him) are fascinating glimpses into his spritual and philosophical journey!

Back in the day when this was hot for some reason Kansas NEVER played in Nebraska. I lived there so a buddy and I had to go to Red Rocks, CO (God's Cathedral). Very well worth the trip and a nice ride on a couple of Harleys with our girls. 600 miles round trip with roughly $1.00 gas
I've seen them since then with the new band members in Reno (former Harrah's outdoor venue) Still killin' it.
    I still have this LP./Album.
    Carry on Wayward Sun.
    Point of Know Return.
"All your money won't another minute buy".

Here’s a suggestion that will blow your mind. Watch the video of The Danish National Symphony Orchestra playing The Good, The Bad and the Ugly. It’s one of my favorites and I’m sure it will be one of yours too.
It’s the soundtrack from the Clint Eastwood movie of the same name. Enjoy
