Why do Russians think Americans hate them. This is simply not true. We are angry at Russia for attacking Ukraine and killing so many innocents, but we don't hate Russians. We blame this crime on Putin, not Russians per se.

Russia and China have historically been great nations; they are nowhere near that in the 21st century. Zero soft power, failing or hugely lagging hard power, some economic power (China) and some scientific/technological power. Whatever they do, the West is still ahead. If they were smart they would do what Japan did post WWII, which is compete from within the system. Japan beat the US on cars and electronics, but as friends (and democracies) that's _perfectly_ OK. But these two foolish nations instead build heavy armaments and think it makes them a Superpower.
In regards to Aircraft Carriers the PLA:N now is where the USN was 100 years ago, they have a LONG way to go before they're ready for carrier warfare.
Taiwan is reading itself with lessons from drone leader Ukraine. Ships now they have to face mines, missiles, and drones.
Trying to attack a neighbor with ships not a good idea.
No mention of the Chinese military conducting joint exercises with the Belarussians military on the Polish border then? That must be a bit embarrassing for NATO to have Chinese troops stationed inside Europe for the first time ever. I bet that they didn't plan on that happening.

They are too busy about worrying about Chinese overcapacity with production of household items and electric vehicles. Just imagine how they will react when the Chinese go into overcapacity with production of military hardware.
