But to be honest I like Throne of Glass series a bit more, as it has a bit more focus on the plot than the romance (yet still having plenty). You said you want to read all of SJM, so I´m curious what your final thoughts will be
@@vikillustrations yes I’ve heard ToG is amazing and has cool world building. And I almost read Crescent city first. I really love her writing. Fantasy is my favorite genre and I love this world of Prythian she’s made and I’m here for the romance haha. I will def be sharing my thoughts on her other series. I want to tackle this series first as I’m in it, and then I still wanna read game of thrones and then I’ll probably go back to Sarah haha. I will def cover other genres besides fantasy but much of it will be fantasy lol
👏 Oh yes, now we are getting to the good juicy parts! (What...a...cliffhanger) Very much enjoying these reactions to new stories - always great to see when a book brings out emotion and engages us with it in ways we didn't expect. At first, this realm of type of story wasn't what I usually read but I'm glad you've convinced me to step out of my lane to try other kinds of stories! This was an enjoyable read, no doubt, and the character struggles and arc in this is very well structured...love me some character development...it's like taking a roller coaster ride of which decisions the character makes you are for or against: no, don't do that...whyyyy....yes, finally...oh how interesting...wait, what?!...oh noooooo...yayyy. Even though this story didn't latch me on right off, it definitely grew on me and became a page turner. Now, I'm locked in and want to see more of how this plays out! :D Keep up the great content!!
So glad I can encourage you to read outside your lane haha. We all gotta try it sometime. That’s what Sanderson books are for me lol. Yes this rollercoaster is insane! Glad you’re enjoying the series enough to continue. And I agree I’m screaming at these characters sometimes but damn that makes it so good. It’s by I love Dan Brown books so much ! He needs to hurry up and write another lol I’m about to re-read his catalogue while I wait lol

When I re-read this book it occurred to me how the "she took my wings" scene was such a dark hidden clue, it's almost creepy and twisted. One of my favorite moments... you'll see ;) Scratch that, this whole book is made of foreshadowing scenes and hidden clues. For the last part of this book, you need a ton more tissues than that for sure. When I read it the first time I was NOT ready. When you said that Sarah lays puzzle pieces and everything is purposeful: It's one of the things I love about her books! There are so many things I would love to say, I'm dying over here to tell you!! Aaaah!! Tamlin did go through some bad stuff, it made him who he is, he was unlucky in his upbringing like Feyre. Since you asked, it's pronounced Ree-sand (I wonder what you think about him) and Am-a-rant-a (hate her btw 😡)

If you want tragic love and emotional destruction, read 11/22/63 by Stephen King if you haven't already. It's rather long and gets really dark and horrible in places, but it is so well written. It isn't fantasy but I think you'll like it regardless. I certainly did. Have fun in Dublin and Edinburgh!

@@AlyLourim I am disabled and my kids are grown so I have a lot of free play compared to most people. I also use Audible for a lot of my reading. It's an addiction rather than a hobby at this point
