I think the sudden cut at the end of Dream Sweet in Sea Major is very intentional as being the end of the story & it makes it kinda lose its impact with random catchy 9/11 song as an epilogue

The line "a little bit of magic to end the world" refers to the attacks as magic. Probably because of how inconceivable they were. In isle unto thyself there's the lines "I was a victim of magic Apollo catching my breath as I bled on the ground Somebody called me to follow I followed thinking aloud" The melody of this section is taken from a part in voac making it obvious that they're connected. Simon was in one of the towers when they were hit. (I was a victim of magic) He was stuck under rubble, bleeding and probably thought he was going to die but he was saved and saw the sun for the first time in what felt like forever. (Apollo catching my breath as I bled in the ground) Thinking it's a miracle that he gets to see the sun again is probably why he refers to it as Apollo and not just the sun. I think it's that the girl commited suicide due to the built-up mental issues, and he was the only one who saw that happen, so he decided to keep it to himself until the guilt got to him and the pressure and trauma was too much that he got schizophrenia. So he just admitted it and then goes to court.
My theory is that Hawaii part II goes from simple Disassociations ((isle unto thyself to white ball)) to a suicide attempt ((murders)) to him regretting it and tormenting himself ((space station 7 and The Mind Electric)) where he devolves into a suicidal mess ((labyrinth)) after he leaves ((time machine)) he goes to the sea and kills himself ((stranded lullaby)) and he goes to heaven ((sweet dream in sea major)) There is no second person, the second person in my theory is his suicidal thoughts

Yes but Variations on a cloud was not about Hawaii Part II. HPII is Miracle Musical and so is VC but VC is not HPII and vice versa. VC is about the 9/11 attacks.

i think it's more likely than not. the song is exactly 7 minutes long, referencing the myth of your last 7 minutes of consciousness, and at exactly 4 minutes in you can hear the song "being pulled underwater" for lack of a better term. the song then suddenly stops, rather than properly ending, after 3 minutes without oxygen, which is a general estimate people give for how long one can survive without air before going unconscious

My theory is that Hawaii part II goes from simple Disassociations ((isle unto thyself to white ball)) to a suicide attempt ((murders)) to him regretting it and tormenting himself ((space station 7 and The Mind Electric)) where he devolves into a suicidal mess ((labyrinth)) after he leaves ((time machine)) he goes to the sea and kills himself ((stranded lullaby)) and he goes to heaven ((sweet dream in sea major))
There is no second person, the second person in my theory is his suicidal thoughts

Yes but Variations on a cloud was not about Hawaii Part II. HPII is Miracle Musical and so is VC but VC is not HPII and vice versa. VC is about the 9/11 attacks.

i think it's more likely than not. the song is exactly 7 minutes long, referencing the myth of your last 7 minutes of consciousness, and at exactly 4 minutes in you can hear the song "being pulled underwater" for lack of a better term. the song then suddenly stops, rather than properly ending, after 3 minutes without oxygen, which is a general estimate people give for how long one can survive without air before going unconscious

song 4 simon is worried about apollo and stella is comforting him. while having ptsd induced auditory hallucinations. the French backing represents romance.
song 5 simon recites to police that his wife was murdured explaining that he was in the middle ground so it wasn't him.

she found the earl king 'lover'" the earl king is an old opera about a boy who gets lured to his death by a ghost in this case the kid is stella and the erlking is apollo
he sees in "the fountain of infinite mirror" (self reflection) murders of murderers (a murder is a group of crows) saying that he himself is a murderer.
song 6 apollo (speaking in Japanese) is trying to convince simon that what he did was good, but simon (in french) is feeling romantically regretful (french is used to represent love in this album)
song 7 (one of my favorites) apollo is trying to prevent simon from pleading insanity (hence the glitches) he gets electro shock therapy and is put into an asylum
song 7 is a mental reconstruction of stella tormenting him in his mind and padded cell
song 8 is simon learning to remember fondly and not regret
song 9 apollo questions simon on why he is pretending hes alone while he has him
song 10+11 simon reflects on his life and tries to join stella, thinkin he will be with her forever, but the line "we will be atoning says he's going to a worse place rather than a better one.
he kills himself in a lake or drowns himself in a prison toilet
he probably cant leave so the latter is likely
