- Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi had launched National Digital Health Mission on 15th August, 2020 aiming to bring all healthcare solutions at your fingertips. #NDHM will bring a unified digital platform for health and wellness services in the country.
In this video, we will go through various facets of the mission. The major components of NDHM, named as Building Blocks and a complete scenario of usefulness of NDHM is discussed.

While appreciating the initiative, let's look at the challenges of using the system in rural India. Connectivity is still an issue, many citizens do not have smart phone, villages are hardly connected by road, elderly citizens are IT illiterate, ... hospitals in rural India still do not have specialists, HR issues need to be strengthened ....etc. If and only if these challenges are first addressed, citizens will be benefited by such futuristic program.
Great Job, Not being advertised enough for ppl to have NDHM IDs. We need videos in local languages and Hindi for fast proliferation
Excellent initiative. Govt must make it mandatory for all doctors , hospitals and patients to register. After a cut of date say a year all citizens must have a ABHA number. Just like Aadhar Govt must push for implementing this.
Our intelligent IT youngsters are changing the future of India in the leadership of PM.

How to onboard legacy HMIS/HIS , what will happen to existing stored in the legacy system
Legacy solutions can also be integrated with NDHM. The data will remain in the system in the federated manner.
Can't submitting after fill 12 digit aadhar number when select register with aadhar.. Only 1'st 4 Digit of aadhar number can fill it... So please provide option verify aadhar with Digilocker or Maadhar android application also change the photo uploading maximum size from 100Kb to between 1mb to 5mb its really frustrating..

What facilities does a nursing staff gets as a health professional uhder ABDM?
All records can be easily fetched using ABHA no. In case of unauthorised sharing of data, stringent action must be taken. I haven't come across any presenter having mentioned such legal actions against defaulters.
