I'm listening to the Alexander brothers now, I'm going away to do some cleaning in my flat it makes me go a bit quicker. Pitty you don't have wallpaper for phones❤ 😊😊❤
I like the take me take me back to I like the Alexander brothers music. It cheers me up when I get up in the morning. There will be noone else can entertain like the Alexander brothers.❤
Thanks for your like, these songs remind of what it used to be like with my family when days were somehow simpler and Hogmanay was Hogmanay, i may be older now but, i just love listening to the songs i grew up listening to.
I can say the first concert I ever attended was the the Alexander brothers.my dad was involved with the boys brigade and when they went on their summer camps all the families used to tag along, morcame, southport, whitely bay,st.andrews but my favourite was always Arbroath with it's railway line, the wee kerr's bus, elliot junction caravan park, bass rock cafe.we'd collect crabs at the beach at dusk and my dad would cook them for all the boys for supper.my parents took me,my brother and sister and some of the other families to see the alexander brothers at either arbroath or montrose town hall where I fell asleep have way through with one of them saying and there's the quietest boy in the house.must have been around 1975 when I was about 7.happy days.
Maybe they could do what they have just done for the Beatles and make a tribute video for Hogmanay, I'm quite sure that even todays younger generation would like to see how their Grannies and Grandads used to dance the night away listening and watching the great artists of our day at Hogmanay. as us Scots like to say no one can ever beat a Scottish Hogmanay even today
This reminds me of my dad 🥹
I still love this! Xx😆
