This looks too hard and time consuming. It happened to my 2 year old 75" Sony Bravia and I'm pissed about it. I'm going to fix it by smashing it with a sledgehammer and never buying another Sony product ever again. Ridiculous that it broke and even more ridiculous that it's not under warranty.
So if i take this to a repair shop How much should i be paying in order to get this problem fixed without getting fooled into paying too much money. Any estimate on the price.? I have a sony bravia 32" inch led tv.

Sony and Philips are reliable... If you want to go really cheap and remain the quality and reliability than there are also pure chinese manufacturers like ChangChong

I've repaired few Samsung, LG and some other less known Plasmas, Samsung is the worst from them (unrepaireble Panels, repairable Y sus and Power boards), some LCD's from LG (Panels are good but Main Boards are 75% of Time the problem), Samsung (Power Board and T-con board problems), Philips (mostly Power Board problems), Sony (firmware problems)... never repaired an Oled TV but can say that all of them have simillar problems (stuck or dead pixel problems and Main Board problems).

This is abnormal audio detection , check your audio amplifier section first. Some time this blinking is caused by DC alert. It means regulators doesn't gives essential voltages as well.

You are rich that you have other broad!It is not technology, use a good broad to exchange. It is the protection of background light control chip in power supply broad. Check the voltage of the output of the light under moving the protectin of the chip. The cheapest way is just short cut bad line to one good line, will cheat the protection chip. If only one line broken.
