Just a honest legit question, what does that mean if one drill is .0001 of a sec faster? When your doing quality work for your employer/customer? It seems to me that thers alot of factors that goes into a good drill !!!
We got FLEX on one side, lots of power for 10 minutes followed by 40 minutes to cool off. Not productive. Milwaukee gen4 had some heating with their impact driver, i would not get into that line yet. The brand with more focus on reliability and engineered for real life productivity is Makita, they cover more angles than other brands.
I think the Gen 4 may have gotten it on that one but that just goes to show how phenomenal Metabo HPT tools really are because one of the most underappreciated platforms and a drill that is getting pretty long in the tooth vs the m18 and metabo should be due for a release sooner than later beats and/or hangs with the best of them in performance period to many of the pro level power tools and on top of the performance many MHPT tools are ip rated and the lifetime li-ion warranty hasn’t let me down yet and literally they have the best customer service in the game i mean truly far superior to any other brand I have dealt with in the power tool arena Half the time I don’t even have to send a copy of my receipt I mean they just fix them there is no finding a loophole to screw you out of fixing the tool in my experience and that is huge
You literally cannot get a bad performing drill nowadays, but you can get a bad quality one personally I use metabo ltx German made stuff and i do believe that metabo Hili and festool are a cut above the rest on terms of quality
Dean Dougherty does repairs, says he waited 6 months for a crucial bearing to repair a 36v metabo tool, the company couldn't provide a replacement! He had to return it to the customer un- repaired.
I have a bunch of Milwaukee tools and dewalt and the only difference I’ve seen is Milwaukee is more powerful but they overheat and shut down a lot. My dealt drills not so much but they do go sideways after about 3 years
@@ToolswithSoAlz I second the Ridgid subcompact comment above. A tool that small shouldn’t be as powerful as it is. Based on the specs that I read about the next generation subcompact, that drill is going to be even more powerful than the current offering. Can’t wait until they are released!
Red 2.74 green 3.25 with stopwatch measured several times 👌 red wins
Thank you
Also red is 18v and green is 36v. That is very impressive to still win and be underpowered
@@garymiller652not really How it workshop because it night be 36v but its just lower amps
The milwauke is 18v but Maybe double the amps
Wow that was really close !!!! But the red seems to bleed through !!!

@@pflaffik😂😂 right..

The Metabo is probably the most comfortable drill I own. Perfect ergonomics and plenty of power. Not sure why it doesn't get the love it deserves.
Just got another Metabo HPT 36V for $111 with two batteries, charger and case
Metabo HPT Winn's cuz we have 3 kits for the orice.if one Gen 4 kit
That's incredible. I hope you saw me using the Metabo this past Sunday
Damn that’s some serious power.
Yes sir
What's the obsession of tools reviews and oh this one's faster !
Don't watch and see if anyone cares
Hard to tell who won. Extremely close contest. Both completed the tasks with ease and didn’t appear to get close to stalling.
That tells me they're both really good. The Gen 4 did much better then the Gen 3 against the same Metabo so there is that
I need that metabo in my life badly. Never dropped to clearance here in NJ/Philly
If it does, it's well worth it.
Lowe's always always has 36v HTP stuff in the clearance section. The section that has everything in on clearance, not the power tool section.
There very close. Still two good drills.

I agree with you
ill take em both over any ryobi tool

That stinks
Very close. But the m18 was quicker. And is what I use
I love it
Whichever is cheaper won, cause that feels like a tie to me
What the price difference for the win
K
Gen4 has some serious power
Absolutely. That thing is amazing
Why don’t you tell us the rated rpm of each.
Higher rpm is better for smaller drill bits into steel also.
Alright
Hard to tell without a timer
Milwaukee won
Milwaukee 2.73 seconds metabo hpt 3.27 seconds Milwaukee for the winner winner chicken dinner
Metabo hpt wins because I picked it up for $111 with case charger and 2 batteries plus 1 rebate 4.0 battery
Ok
Don't forget the unlimited tool warranty! 😊
It’s a tie. 3 sec each.
Not to shabby
Red wins
No one ever talks about how much Milwaukee likes to overheat with continued use of doing that again and again and again
I have a bunch of Milwaukee tools and dewalt and the only difference I’ve seen is Milwaukee is more powerful but they overheat and shut down a lot. My dealt drills not so much but they do go sideways after about 3 years
My suggestion would be that instead of blaming the tool, blame the operator
Milwaukee won if it would have broke through it would have been a tie but unfortunately 😕 it lost
Milwaukee
No wrong answer in this match-up
Red by a CH
Gen 4 Milwaukee, hands-down Metabo is just way too slow…
the AMP is what made the Milwaukee better which is 6amp vs Metabo 4amp, don't exaugurat !!!!
Ma'am, if you don't know what you're talking about, you should remain silent and learn. You have a lot to learn.
my ridgid subcompact blows them both out of the water 🤣
I do love the subcompact but I'm not nuts. Lol!
