So you're an old guy, like me! You know, I am quite certain I have never heard a Status Quo song! I guess I have at some point, but there's no way I could identify, or even name a Status Quo song. Jon, are you English and moved to Mexico?
Dan have you ever catched a show at Metropolitan here in CDMX?...would love to hear your take on the acoustics which i think are great...hard to catch a band that you would probably like at that venue but the Pumpkins and Pixies have played the venue in last year in a half (still, probably not necessarily bands you like)...but well if you ever get a chance might be worth your while...
Nooo, but I would love to. Well, I have been there, but it wasn't for a rock concert, but for an homenaje for Manuel Esperon, and Jorge Negrete and Pedro Infante. But it's a beautiful place, and I would love to see a rock concert there, but no bands I like have ever played there.
Dan, I felt the same thing un Sanitarium. That intro solo was really bad, it seemed yo me that he forgot how It went... Jajaja fortunately the last solo un Sanitarium was mucho better. And I didn't notice much more Kirk's issues... Jejeje
Nah, I think they'll be the same, maybe with one or two changes each night. I mean, tomorrow is gonna be the same as last Friday, and Sunday will be the same as last Sunday.
@@danbowskimexico Thanks for the response, I was on the concert last weekend I was a little bit worried about missing a complete different setlist, thanks and have fun today!
Yes, same with me! I couldn't come to both concerts last weekend or this weekend, so I did Sunday last week, and Friday, today (just got to Mexico an hour ago). I'm confident tonight will be the same as last Friday, maybe with a change or two, but nothing repeated from last Sunday.
cool. My nephew and I feel the earth move many times on Sunday. His first concert with 14 years old. He loves ride the ligthing (Fortnite fault jajaj ) I would like to donate too (maybe some money for a bootleg T-shirt this Friday 😁) 🇲🇽
Yeah Kirk butcher sanitarium me and my friends all we play guitar but it was sounding bad at the begining one of my friends even scramed “ focus kirk” but my god you can tell that 1959 gibson les Paul greeny of Kirk was the best sounding guitar of that night even beating herfield ken Lawrence Explorer the best sounding metallica for me in tuoose two days
Glad to hear you enjoyed it, and yeah some minor hiccups, especially Sanitarium, but all in all, it was GREAT
Another great video! Keep em coming!
There might be one more surprise to close out the week tomorrow 😇 Thanks again, Chris!

THANK YOU DAN =)
Great video! Would be interesting to hear your thoughts about last night's gig. The setlist was crazy
You can xpect something in a few days! It's gonna be about last night, and with a twist.
Glad you enjoyed the show! Wasn't sure based on the thumbnail! 😂
I hope that's as close as I ever come to clickbait! (though it's just a random still from the video)
@@danbowskimexico 😂
Love the t shirt!
07:00 The artist in charge of reopening GNP seguros was Bruno Mars
Ah yes, forgot about that! Thanks for the correction!
@@danbowskimexico Love you bro!
Coincidence. My first ever concert was also in 1984. Status Quo may 25th at the NEC Birmingham England.

@@danbowskimexico yes. From Yorkshire.
Ahhh, okay! I thought it was idd that a guy in Mexico was called Jon Holmes. Makes sense now!

He didn't forgot, he just did it in the wrong time, he started it 2 beats later!
@Drsimioindahouse I don't know if he came in late, or what happened, but he definitely fucked it up. If he came in late, maybe he couldn't recover.
Do you think the setlits from this 2nd weekend is going to be different from the previous one?

Ah, sure, that would be great! Another t-shirt is always a welcome addition! You can send it via PayPal to: mexicanuck@gmail.com Thanks so much!
to truly capture the experience, you had to be in GA with Mexican brethren. Second row.
Well, that's not the experience I need.
