Hi Tony, welcome back. I always liked the DT range but never rode a 250. I guess it had much better performance than my 175 and could make at least comfortable motorway speeds, all with not much more weight to throw around. Vince
@@vinceunlimited i got it very cheep , it was very hevy for 250 tank ha ha bullit prooth tho ,my moto freinds some got the yamy 175 it ,enduros? had power bands 6 gearsetc went like rockets ,thay were the rich cablaro kids ha ha
Hi, thanks for watching my video and your comment. Actually the X7 was introduced in 1979, about a year after I had the Yamaha. I mentioned the X7 in my Honda CB200 video and the fact it may not have reached its advertised top end speed but it certainly was one of the fastest when released. No doubt seemed even faster with the addition of the L plate, although technically slower due to extra drag. If you haven't seen my Honda CB200 video I think you might like it. Vince
I agree. why did I never take a single shot in all the years of ownership? Probably because all I had was a fairly basic camera and had lost the enjoyment from it by then. I tell the story of that Kodak in another video on my channel
