My family is here all because of YOU! I’ve been getting a lot of questions about what is like having young kids in Tulsa so I’m thinking about creating a RUclips channel discussing family life in Tulsa as a Tulsa Remote member. I could also talk about employment opportunities here as well.
Here to support! My friend- an artist got a studio, I think housing and money for like 2 years,, he's still out there...it's a wild scheme. Ultimately in my friends case bringing artists- will also bring tourism, arts and growth. LIBRYIA do you feel it's safe for black folks at THIS TIME??? There was an incident in the artist's case-- a black woman artist (not my friend)...I won't get into it. Again not sure if it's the same program (I think it's related) but it's def. Tulsa...
I just started a remote job . Would the 10k be enough to get a apartment and planes tickets and moving stuff? Also, if let say hypothetically someone get fired or laid off from their remote job while on the program would you get dropped from the program and return back to your home?
CONGRATS!! THAT'S AWESOME! I wouldn't suggest doing the research on moving costs, etc. I wouldn't be able to answer that for you as there are too many variables unique to you. People have been fired and/or laid off from their job during the program. They were not removed from it and the good news is they had a network of remote workers to help them on their journey to find a new job. Also, keep in mind, none of this has to be figured out for you to apply for the program. It would take up to 3 months to get approved and then you have 12 months to move so there's 12-15 months between hitting the "submit" button and having to figure all that out. While all great considerations, don't let the questions deter you from applying. Applying is basically registering interest.
No ty not ever would I move into a state that is poor and depends on other tax payers to foot the bill for them, NoNoNo on top of that they 49th out of the 50 states in education no ty!! Know your facts!!

I applied during covid, had an interview but got denied.
Probably really crowded that year? Can you reapply.
