Talli Faye I make cabbage rolls a lot I use rice. For the sauce try using a can Campbell’s tomatoe soup diluted with a little water added. So happy to see you have the same Corning ware pattern I do. Got mine started as a wedding present and have collected many pieces since.

Wow, that is one of my favorite meals. My Gram or Mama made cabbage rolls and I loved them. Your produce is beautiful. Try cooking whole okra pods on top of your peas, okra gives your peas a richness. BTW, I Love your wedding ring.
I grew up eating cabbage rolls. My Polish grandma made them with the rice and she and my mother would put the extra cabbage around the rolls and also add some sauerkraut before baking. Talli Faye, I won't be scared to make these now.

I use 3 lbs ground beef, 1 cup uncle Ben's rice, 1 tablespoon of onion powder and garlic powder, pepper and salt, half a 12 oz can of V8, roll in cabbage leaves, layer with diced tomatoes mixed with crushed tomatoes and the remaining V8. Line your pot with pork ribs seasoned with salt and pepper. Add sauerkraut if you want. Also if there's any meat left, stuff some mini sweet peppers and add to the pot, or make some porcupine meatballs with it and put it on the top. My mommas german uncle owned a restaurant and made his cabbage rolls this way I told you. Serve with sour cream and boiled potatoes.

I'm too lazy to make cabbage rolls these days 😆 I just chop up cabbage, boil it, layer all the ingredients in a casserole dish & bake. My secret ingredient is a little V8 juice. After seeing yours, I'm craving 'em!

Yeah she freezes them and just picks what she needs and then she'll either make it all into stuffed cabbage and fries the rest in bacon
