Faithless Insomnia is a song that was in Radio almost every day in mid 90's to 1999. Remember hearing different versions of that a lot when I used to go tech raves. Those were so insanely good even here in Finland.
Amazing artists. Debutsingle "Insomnia" is still being played in every major club worldwide. Accoutsic house combined with a very fine poët and massive energy. No computers just great musicians. As a DJ for the 24 years i can not do without these awesome people. Much respect for this group!
I was not there, but I was there when they played in the Netherlands. A performance on Pinkpop results in a little earhquake because of the jumping people and the beat.
And that same performance was also the base for the video clip for this exact track. I can remember the atmosphere in the roskilde tent right before their performance, electrifying
Yes!! Finally unblocked! Great performance from Faithless. And great message. Spreed the Word Highly! Great reaction!! Thx! Up to the next one from Faithless! Lets go! Partytime!!
Some friends bought me a ticket to celebrate my 3rd year in recovery. It was the most amazing night of my life shared with kindred spirits. Still happy with my very different way of life in 21.
I was there! Faithless are my favourite band, this concert absolutely kicked ass, the best of the 3 times I have seen them live. Sister Bliss is a true artist with her creations and then Maxi adding lyrics, not to even mention Rollo! (take a look at R+ with Amelia Fox, superb) RIP Maxi, LEGEND.
I wasn't there, but I saw them at a festival around the same time. I wasn't really a fan of theirs at the time, but they absolutely blew me away. I'll never forget the feeling of pure joy bouncing along with the rest of the crowd to this track. Amazing.
HAHAHA!!!! Oh my Lord your reaction was priceless HXC like I've said before it's not just the message or the lyrics it's how it makes people feel. There are only a few bands that can do this. To bring people from all walks of life together in peace and euphoric feeling...........lol I need to shut up lol This is how a concert should be. FYI NIGHTWISH IS ON MY BUCKET LIST
I was there, had a nice little walk through Camden, went to brewdog pub then headed off to the Ali Pali, was one of the best nights of my life, maxi jazz is amazing 👏
One of the best livebands ever! The concert I witnessed was just out of this world. Maxi Jazz is our soulful messenger. So many great tracks from this band. SALVA MEA, INSOMNIA, REVERENCE, WE COME 1, I WANT MORE, WHAT ABOUT LOVE are dancemonsters, but they also deliver beauties like Bring my family back, Take the long way home, Postcards, Not enuff Love, Tarantula, Giving myself away and many many more
Whaah you're reaction!! I saw them many times live. And it's exactly what @matinehermans says. It's indeed a hypnotic transcendenting meditation dance. I was not at this concert but i saw them many times at a festival (also Pinkpop) Their music brings you in another state of being.
The guitarist Rollo and sister Bliss on keyboards Write, and produce most of the tunes. By the way, Rollo’s little sister is called Dido and you might want to check out some of her stuff it’s the exact opposite of this but beautiful
Faithless are awesome. Listened to them so much mostly in the 90s. Saw them live around 1997-1998 and they are so good live. Their latest album is actually good too. They always have a message to say.
I am glad you stop by and enjoyed the song and it gave you a kickstart to your day. I appreciate you and all the love and support. As always much love to you
@@HighlyCombustibleReacts I normally don’t react on youtube, but the love and positivity you spread by your channel, it’s something i can’t ignore. Maybe the music isn’t always my thing, but your reactions are worth to watch it. Thank you for that, keep on the good work! 🖤
Faithless is one of my favorite bands ever. Maxi Jazz wrote a line that has become my life motto in the title track of their debut album 'Reverence'. 'You don't need eyes to see, you need vision..'
Like many here, i saw them at the Pinkpop Music Festival and as you can see from the live videos... they know how to get a crowd going and get the party started. The band/act that started this style of music for me, i saw a few years prior to Faithless, was/is "Underworld". They dont play with a band but use midi decks and basically play those as an instrument and can change at will (making songs longer, shorter or change stuff up). You should check them out as well at some point, "Born Slippy" and "Rez/Cowgirl" i highly recommend to get started with, they too know how to get a party going hehehe.

This was at a time house music and every thing related already had made a name for itself down here... All through the 90's with great dj's and performers. Saw him at Pink Pop festival 1999, in the Netherlands, where I live. Now this was in xtc time, but at such a live experience you get high from the music. The beat, the changes and the build ups... Instant euphoria, can't be beaten.. 😊 I'd love to see you react to "Underworld Born Slippy Live in Berlin (Electronic Beats TV)". More or less same period, but different music style. Also a good example...
Maxi jazz unfortunately passed away last year. Faithles was groundbreaking in the 90's. God is a DJ, We come 1 and Insomia are truly epic records that changed the music industry. you should check out 'God is a DJ' at pinkpop festival '99. 70,000 people where jumping together as a single heartbeat, and caused an actual REGISTERED earthquace.
