Osteoporosis asked me to make a video on fusing a 4/1 case of cakes in series for them to go off one after each other as one big cake without having overlap or black sky between them, while not having to rely on timing out fuse wrapped around all the cakes. Hope this helps!
@@PyroWorks365 Sorry, can't demo it, I broke the cakes down into individual tubes to mix into my cake builds right after I got done filming this how to video.
@@PyroWorks365 it works out great. I actually fused mine into the 2nd to last rows last shot before the Finale on that cake went off to shoot just a second or 2 faster so the first shot on the 2and cake went off with the Finale of the first.
Great video! Awesome way to make a 1/1 as well as save some outside fusing time for those shoot sites that are smoldering hot and you can rely less on your timed fuse. Thank you!
Nice. I might give this a try one day. I've been thinking of reverting back to my old method of taping two 500g cakes together at a time. Makes the transportation so much easier. I can carry a lot more in my SUV and save my back from the heavy boards.
@@MyFireworkDemos Yeah, two of them together makes a pretty large footprint. I've fired them like that many times just sitting on grass. Never had a problem. Like you said, you have plenty of boards and my empty boards stacked don't take up much room. The built boards take up a lot of room. I think 4 is the max I can haul.
16 500g cakes taped and fused tonight. Just need to be matched. No way these can tip. This is so much easier than the boards. Takes a lot of tape though.
A variation on this is to fire two or three cakes that are complementary to each other, at once. For example, I bricked together Flood Red and Western Sky and series matched them to go off on one cue. Here is a set of these bricks goin off at 4 stations on one cue at 9:25: ruclips.net/video/WqqP7Y2f4tU/видео.html
@@MrDNonchalant It would fire one cake after another. The yellow fuse is 2 secs/ft so the first tube on the next cake would go up a split second after the last tube on cake before it goes up.
I'm using this method this year for 200 gram game board's. I used pink fuse to link up to the next cake and split the end of the fuse to hopefully get it to ignit
Normally I just wrap packing tape around 2 or more cakes, no glue, no bricks. Hot glue wont work since the outsides of the cakes are just paper, they will just tear apart. Here is a look at some taped up packs of 200G cakes how I do them for my 4th of July finale: ruclips.net/video/bpDIb-uzvNI/видео.html
Great video for some reason I have never thought of this I’m going to try it out this fourth and we’ll see how it goes we’re gonna have to get you talking in your videos 😂 thanks man
@@MyFireworkDemos You've spoke more than that..Just very limited. I don't speak on my stash/set up videos because I don't like my voice on video/audio. Thinking of speaking one day. I basically sound just like Volunteer Pyro on cam, in my opinion. :)
@@gjam5204 I don't know about that, I try really hard to no have me talking on the videos. not on this, did it as a demo of how to run them one after another, these cakes got broken down for their tubes to make happy endings on a bunch of my customs.

No problem, was going to break these down for my builds anyways, was no trouble to use them for a how to video before I dissected them.
Showing off your mad Skills again I see !

I got plenty of boards here, and 2 500 holding each other down most likely isn't going to tip, 4 definitely wont tip.

Yes .great how to video . Now everyone will save on fuse cost for more cakes.

Makes me wanna buy 4 Irish Legends this weekend just so I can try this out with them lol
Wow now I know how to make my own 1/1! Thanks!!
And the pyro community just collected another gold nugget. Thanks for sharing!
Excellent information demo!
Can’t wait to see these in action now, awesome video
you wont see this go up, I only made it for this how to, I took them apart for the tubes to mix into my custom cake builds.
MyFireworkDemos oh okay I really wanted to know how the timing would have looked for this. I guess I just gotta do it myself lol

Perfect for my situation! Thanks
Excellent I’ve did 2 together the same way never done a four pack! 👍🏻
Did you have a video??? Pyro Nights
Thanks, this was very informative
How high do you go up on tube when punching hole and how long of wick or what wick do i use to make shure no dead space between shots
I just bought this cake from joe and donna👍👍👍👍they say it’s a loud cake can’t wait til you demo those you just did💪💪💪💪
If I am buying cases of something, then you know its not trash, lol.
He had them hidden with the zipper cakes in the back. I bought the 4 pack canister flash bangs and the 5 inch pro shells by megabanger

How do you know where to punch hole if cake only has one fuse no backup fuse
Nicely done!💯
Nice MFD 👌 just how they would have at the factory

My poke is made of brass, it is non sparking, it is safe as can be for a metal poke.
helpful, thanks!

no can do, broke down all 4 cakes into individual tubes for my builds.
Too much work. I just fire in parallel.
better off to do that on these, they are slow firing.

You just made a 1.3 cake...
No, he made a compound cake. Little bit of a difference between the two.
