I think Detroit was the only territory other than Amarillo where they were over as babyfaces; at least in this stage of their career. Most of the stuff I've seen from everywhere else they've worked they were the most despised wrestlers in the territory, especially Florida.
The Shiek and Abdullah the Butcher were not wrestlers . They were gimmicks . The Funks could do what they did but no way Abbie and The Sheik could wrestle like The Funks .
