This song is originally a song from The X-Ecutioners, not Linkin Park, but I'm glad to see it getting recognition again almost two decades later. Mike Shinoda as always going hard on those rap-rock verses!!!

    It's going down
The rhythm projects 'round the next sound
Reflects a complex hybrid dialect now
Detect a mesh of many elements compressed down
The melting pot of a super-futuresque style
The combination of a vocal caress
With lungs that gasp for breath
    From emotional stress
    With special effects
    In a distorted collage
Carefully lodged between beats of a rhythmic barrage
    [Pre-Chorus](2x)
    It's going down
The logical progression on a the timeline
The separation narrowed down to a fine line
To blur the edges so they blend together properly
Take you on an audible odyssey
    Now it's going down
    [Chorus](2x)
'Put put.. put it up' *scratches*
'I said it goes like this' *scratches*
'And you do it like this' *scratches*
    It's going down

Like pretty much everyone here said this here track was by The X-Ecutioners from their second studio album Built from Scratch which was originally released on February 26, 2002. The song includes samples of the Xzibit song Year 2000 and Linkin Park’s demo tracks Step Up (originally from the original and reissue of the EP Hybrid Theory) and Dedicated (Demo 1999) (originally from the LP Underground 2.0 EP) the chorus and bridge of the song both refer to the group as X-Men an old name that they changed in order to avoid accusations of copyright infringement. So if you’re wondering why that dope ass track is on the 20th Anniversary reissue of Hybrid Theory there’s your answer :)

Whoever runs this RUclips Account should correct the title to say 'The X-Ecutioners' rather than 'Linkin Park'. Oddly, I remember this being big in the early 2000s, especially on MTV2, so wouldn't call it a 'rarity' or a 'B side'. However, it is good that people under Thirty may be hearing this for the first time.
