Conductor Martin Katz needs to get a better tailor. His sleeves are 6 inches too short. I mean, it's one thing to "show an inch of cream cuff," but look at his shirt sleeves! And don't accuse me of being petty. I'm just being humorous. I admire both him and Ms Horne.
this singer would be considered an excellent and very well educated student in probably her last year at a soviet vocal university...now while she is experienced she however makes many mistakes such as her voice is not steady positionally...she uses the nose renascence and then a throat sound....her voice and sound is also quite flat....the voice is very small and her words are not easy to understand...which is also a skill a singer must have....she uses the chest breath way to much this why she has all these minuses.
You seem to be very knowledgeable on vocal technique. I would 100% subscribe to you if you were to do a video in which you demonstrate on-camera how to improve the technique she is using. I'm sure that "Jackie", her fans, and I would learn a lot coming from an expert such as yourself! She was chosen by Dame Joan Sutherland to appear at her farewell performance. She is universally respected by singers who have careers, including yours truly. There is a small group of internet trolls led by one woman who calls herself Jeremy Silver who is a failed singer/human being. She has a beef with Ms. Horne and her trolls like to make disparaging comments about her.

That isn't a hard aria to sing, however.
She lowered the key and it still sounded horrible and pushed.

Perhaps, knowing too much about technique prevents one from being able to enjoy.
Analyzing too much prevents enjoyment of the music.
