I just wish she'd come around Tulsa once. Saw OMJ last Dec- my 1st real concert in 29 yrs. Not many I'd pay to see anymore, but Haley? Definitely. Love that girl. 😍
Scott Bradlee is a MASTER Technicion when it comes to arrangements and instrumental composition.
Haley's voice is unforgettable.
Haley = vocal goddess...one of my favorite voices of this era. her vocal toolkit is just so huge.
I couldn't place it at first, I had to hit the pause button and run it around in my mind for a minute. But then it came to me. In the middle of the song they slip out of Don't Speak and into You Don't Own Me, by Leslie Gore. Then they slip back. I thought the whole thing was brilliant, they took an old song, or two, and came up with something new. Why aren't songs like this on the radio or in the charts? It's true, the best music is on You Tube
Yes they surely did... glad you saw/heard that too. Even some reaction channels music people miss that.... Or should I say couldn't figure out that it was tributing to Leslie Gore song
It's also played towards the end on top of the original music.

We have done a few reaction to PMJ with Haley and other guest artists and they are really very good indeed.

I was hooked from the first time I heard them do Creep about one and a half years ago.
Then I started listening to more of their work and decided I just had to see them live.
I've now seen them twice in Rochester and Toronto. I'd gladly see them again.
Unfortunately they only have a traveling group, that is really good, but it leaves still sort of wanting to see the original artist that wowed you so much.
All in all it's still a great, original and very intertaining show.
A music collective with musician based in NYC. It shockin they are good. Lol
If you want to react to a Haley Reinhart original from Lo-Fi Soul, might I suggest her performance of "Don't Know How To Love You" at Chess Records, w/ her Dad, Harry on guitar.
It's at the back half of a two song video, the first half is Haley and Dad covering the Blind Faith classic, "Can't Find My Way Home".

I do like the "Blind Faith" song as Eric Clapton is one of my personal fave guitarists.

@@BritPopsReact for accuracy, Steve Winwood wrote and sang "Can't Find My Way Home" when he and Clapton were both in Blind Faith. Haley has also covered the alternate version of the song when Winwood formed "Traffic".
The video I suggested was made for charity, to raise funds for musicians during the pandemic, so there's chatter. you might want to edit to the songs to react to if you're going to react to both. Truly gorgeous vocal performances by Haley, Cheers

Love the original and this is such a unique cover of it. Her voice is so different. Although, the guy that keeps sliding off made me laugh wondering if he's popping off to put the kettle on etc 😂 brilliant and classy cover.

As you put it, a class act. The musicians are all top notch and Haley's voice is superb. She really does this style so well. Check out their version of Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden. Brilliant.

Great pick, gentlemen! We've all heard the No Doubt version, and yes Gwen Stefani was amazing! Personally - may have been the time O heard it - but I preferred the album Rock Steady over Tragic Kingdom, on which I heard 'Don't Speak'. I liked BP1's description - 'classy'. This was definitely all of that. You two introduced me to this band, so yes, I agree, BP2 - you should do more PMJ.. 😀

Great reaction! Haley and Morgan James are two of the best singers (in my mind) to sing with PMJ. Oh, try Elise Trouw's covers of Major Lazer's Lean On and Fleetwood Mac's Dreams with Scary Pockets. Elise is a very good singer and multi-intrumentalist in my opinion.
