Matt, fantastic job on the fan shroud! Even though you're fighting to make the deadline, your attention to detail and functionality on everything is amazing! You guys handled "the ding" with grace. Matt and Josh you are the best!
I'm going to want the Diecast version of this !!! This thing Is CRAZY cool and I've really enjoyed watching 👀 u build it !! And we like the lunch lady aswell !!
You guys should extend the 2 stick shifters and then top them off with 2 lawnmower pistons. They're sweet when they're polished up. Get 3 and make them all match. You guys are doing a fantastic job, stay safe and God Bless you guys and your families. 😊👍🙏🏼
The video started w/ Josh stating, "I don't want to tell ya, but I have to. I can't hide it etc..." Jeepers...I thought something catastrophic happened. Scared the hell out of me!!!! Don't do that to me. Josh, it sucks but damn, ya, could of been so much worse. You could of got hurt. That could of happen w/ Matt there too and by Matt's reaction, he knows. I've seen your talent you will be able to make it look great even if not "perfect". I look forward to seeing this build complete. Always look forward to your videos. Never boring. Please keep the great content coming. God Bless
Looking great 🤠👍 I think you'll be a lot more comfortable with on trips with that gas pedal than the other one... Can't wait to see it under it's own power & out on the trails... P.S. Tell Josh it's not a big deal...I've had things like that happen before too...and MORR just did something similar a while back on the spud truck 6x6... sometimes things just happen...we just deal with them as we move forward...no one got hurt & vehicles can be fixed... I pray you all have a wonderful & blessed week over there 👋🤠
When you all started this build, I thought you guys were nutz............this is turning out to be one of the best if not the best! Very unique and original! Nice job!
Nick’s diesel and tuning in NW Ohio , he builds custom pulling truck turbos and engines. He did my last set on my 6.4 power stroke. He will make whatever you want or he can tell you what you need.
great job on your build. i've followed along on every video. your skillset is incredible. im the guy that emailed you about windrock next month. looking forward to meeting you "again". i need to get that freedom winch line.
That beep is the exact tone of my dog's shock collar. I had to stop what I was doing and give her some treats and tell her she was a good girl for five minutes to convince her she wasn't in trouble.
thx y'all!! for simplicity- the Bosch VE pumps has mechanical cutoff if pulled back from idle. learned that from Case equipment when having starting and stopping woes.. Kiss wins over wires✌🤟
I had some what of the same issue. I put a JB customs twin sticked np205 behind the c6 in my 88 bronco. I flipped the sticks around to put the bends in the right place.. I also boxed in the floor to finish it off.
Make shifters telescopic or foldable. Opening that cover folding up a shifter. With a elegance in a tweed jacket. Shift into 4wd and goo. British style...
KC turbos, hydra tuner for that 7.3. While you have it down put a T500 hpop w/ hi flow fittings and new hpop lines in it. Get a new cam sensor from Riff-Raff to put in the glovebox, just in case on the long road trip.
I have 180/30 injectors with a KC 300x Turbo. Stage 1. With a .84 housing. A CNC fab stage 1 hpop and it tows amazing. I live in Utah and it does amazing pulling my 4500lb XJ on 3000 lb trailer. The kc300x and 180/30 is a great combo. I'd recommend do the up pipes and the EBPV deleted pedestal while you have the turbo off.
Stuff happens! Castors are a pain! Our shop welding tables are very heavy, 5' x 10', and the castors that were put on before I started working there, a couple years ago, did the same thing. I ordered new ones that are 5000lb capacity EACH! Steel rollers not poly, greaseable. Not cheap, but when dealing with heavy fabrication, it pays for itself when they don't fold on you!
I learned my lesSon with E-bay parts. I have 2000 F350 Super Duty with a 7.3l and the gaskets for the valve covers were junk from E-bay. Always buy Motorcraft parts for the 7.3!
Industrial injection can help with all your diesel needs from dirty max and power powerjokes and Cummins powerplants I'm sure they'd try talking you into a Cummins swap in tug but if you want to keep a powerjoke go with the 7.3IDI
BTW a revolver barrel is just a tube with rifling in it. You may have meant a revolver cylinder. I made my steering know with a revolver cylinder, and it works great.
Excuse me, but for the shifters, why not drill small holes in the corners of the measurement from below and then cut from above, so you don't have to move the chassis again?
a couple reasons, there was multiple layers up top, Needed to get up there first and make sure we weren't cutting out the passenger seat mounts, didnt want to get grinding dust all over the nice clean transmission, and the car bottom was about 6 feet up in the air. Was just easier to roll it out real quick.
Holy Rollers 😂 Most people would have just found a set of temporary wheels. Hard to believe there isn't a set lurking around there someplace. The Holy Rollers do look like they are efficient to a point 😮 Oops well they can always be demilled.
I'm still running tank recovery winches from WW2, I ripped my friends new Ford F350 into two half showing how strong the old winches were because he was making fun of me for not using new winches when I built my new recovery truck! For those who want to know! I am not sorry for what I did to his truck! His insurance is covering it because it was done during the recovery of it from the peat bog! Here the peat bog is government protected land and it has to be removed!
So I was wondering if you could make all the Dodge wiring be buy it self and Jag have it's own operation system buy it self. That way if there is something wrong with the engine operation you chase it down and if there is something wrong with the Jag systems you can figure it out.
You can run a Cummins on a 1 wire setup if you're not running any emmisions junk and i prefer the old-style way of shutting them down with a choke cable to turn the fuel on to run it and push it in and pull out to shut it down then power your bulkhead for powering everything in the car that's staying and eliminate 100 lbs of wire for BS you don't need like an am/fm cassette deck replace that with a CB or and a dedicated trail radio like 1 of the trails i run use sometimes new often used ship to shore radios with a built in weather channel from damaged boats they get from insurance cheap off boats that break lose from the marina or cant make it back to the marina during storms and end up on the rocks with broken hulls or torn pontoons (easy fix cut the end off get a skinny person inside to help hammer the gash shut and weld it from both sidesc or from the outside cut the dammaged part out and replace it and put the end back on I!m usually the 1 salvaging them since i have equipment and a salvage/scrapyard with a little bit of everything and😢 kids with a mechanic shop and a fabrication/welding shop i rebuild some boats mainly pontoons we have 1 with 3 pontoons a custom built trailer and dual 454s with 5 blade propellers weve pulled up sunken bass boats with a yankum rope as it rises we let the owner if they insist but usually my oldest boy slowly out to pull the plugs till hes on plane and enough water is out to float with the plugs in then tow him to his trailer to drain water go home and change oils and fix the reason it sank usually bad bilge pumps or wiring to them no need for boom boom radios in a nature cruiser it scared the wildlife away but if you must instead of jeeps overpriced garbage that 2 puddles ruin the speakers of their waterproof systems i'd suggest some boom booms from a boat or 2 much better sound and if mud gets on them a garden hose wont destroy them just put the covers on before pressure washing and if the rig sits out in the cold keep them inside a couple days and nights and put the covers on to avoid moisture and wet leaves getting in freezing and cracking a speaker
I have those same floor dollies that resulted into the same problem. Those casters are terrible. I recommend replacing those with 87845T55 from McMaster. They will give you about 1400 lbs per dolly.
hopefully the tiny amount of chassis flex (should be none you boxed it I think) and/or engine mount flex does not make the fan hit your shroud when your twisted up. Suggest when you got tires on it .... flex it out with jacks etc...... and check that? Would hate to see a fan blade sheer and take out your radiator. Dat would be a bad day.
Not to kick anyone when they're down, but that caster explosion was entirely predictable... Loving this build though, save the destruction for the trail!
Kudos to Matt and Josh for their attention to detail. This build is really turning out nice.
Thanks, I know we have a short time left but I still cant make myself skip the details
Matt, fantastic job on the fan shroud! Even though you're fighting to make the deadline, your attention to detail and functionality on everything is amazing!
You guys handled "the ding" with grace. Matt and Josh you are the best!
Thanks, I appreciate the comments!
I'm going to want the Diecast version of this !!! This thing Is CRAZY cool and I've really enjoyed watching 👀 u build it !! And we like the lunch lady aswell !!
The dent just gives it more of a Mad Max look.
You guys should extend the 2 stick shifters and then top them off with 2 lawnmower pistons. They're sweet when they're polished up. Get 3 and make them all match. You guys are doing a fantastic job, stay safe and God Bless you guys and your families. 😊👍🙏🏼
Y’all are doing an amazing job! Super excited to see this cross the finish line and win the Sema build challenge!
The video started w/ Josh stating, "I don't want to tell ya, but I have to. I can't hide it etc..." Jeepers...I thought something catastrophic happened. Scared the hell out of me!!!! Fine job gentlemen, the Holy Grail is really comin along. Thanks for the video 👋
Looking great 🤠👍

Dude !! This will destroy the competition. The competition is also dropping like Flys !!
I'm logging in again to vote 👍
thanks for the votes!
I cant wait to see this in action Matt & Josh this is a awesome build my top ten favorites on RUclips 😊😊😊
When you all started this build, I thought you guys were nutz............this is turning out to be one of the best if not the best! Very unique and original! Nice job!
Well we are nutz but the vision always comes together in the end!
Jag wrecker is looking good!! Josh, I wear ear buds for music on most of my RUclips videos. It makes it easier if you have to explain something.
Nick’s diesel and tuning in NW Ohio , he builds custom pulling truck turbos and engines. He did my last set on my 6.4 power stroke. He will make whatever you want or he can tell you what you need.
Look forward to your vids every Sunday morning
Love your work
great job on your build. i've followed along on every video. your skillset is incredible. im the guy that emailed you about windrock next month. looking forward to meeting you "again". i need to get that freedom winch line.
It’s coming along nicely 👍👍
Awesome Build!!
Alldata is the way to go man, I used it all the time in my wrench turning days.
That beep is the exact tone of my dog's shock collar. I had to stop what I was doing and give her some treats and tell her she was a good girl for five minutes to convince her she wasn't in trouble.
GOOD JOB JOSH YOU THE MAN
LOL Josh- that's nothing what Matt did to the spud truck.. LMAO Y'all are doing great with the hard work y'all do!!
That is a serious unit!
Hey guys, a 55 gallon drum would make like 10 shrouds and is already round.
thx y'all!! for simplicity- the Bosch VE pumps has mechanical cutoff if pulled back from idle. learned that from Case equipment when having starting and stopping woes.. Kiss wins over wires✌🤟
I have a 7.3, did the 180/30 and a kc300 stage 1 turbo with jelly built tunes. Pulls very well
I use Riffraff Diesel for my 7.3 parts and look into a Hydra tuner. Nice job on the build!!
Customization at every step lol looking good though! Can’t wait for this abomination to be done!!!
Good prices and good parts too😊
I had some what of the same issue. I put a JB customs twin sticked np205 behind the c6 in my 88 bronco. I flipped the sticks around to put the bends in the right place.. I also boxed in the floor to finish it off.

KC Turbos in AZ. Definitely qualify stuff.

I'd recommend do the up pipes and the EBPV deleted pedestal while you have the turbo off.
Oh. For tuning. I use a Hydra tuner with Jellibilt tunes.
Those guy know whats up. Hopefully they see the message
Good video.

KC turbos for all your power stroke needs!
Industrial Injection for your disel performance needs. If you're in a time crunch, you could always purchase some Banks Power bolt on stuff.
I learned my lesSon with E-bay parts. I have 2000 F350 Super Duty with a 7.3l and the gaskets for the valve covers were junk from E-bay. Always buy Motorcraft parts for the 7.3!

Area Diesel Service in Carlinville, IL can handle all your diesel needs from injectors to pumps to turbos.
This build is bad a$$ , hands down...all the builds are unique on this on x adventure but this one is definitely a holy grail..👍
Jj session @ diesel mafia in Indian best around hands down on ford's a master 6.0 builder for all you 6.0 guys
Check out the turbo kit that Matt Myrick put on his 7.3L guys! Great videos!!
Josh You can do it!!
Ryan's Diesel service in Wisconsin makes great turbos
Josh I usually get my factory service manuals digitally from eBay. The prices range from like $4 to $25. I hope it helps.
Excuse me, but for the shifters, why not drill small holes in the corners of the measurement from below and then cut from above, so you don't have to move the chassis again?

22 '''x 3.14 = 69.08 inch is your circumference
That's a massive fan opening
Get a turbo from Industrial Injection. They are in Utah. The Utah RUclips Mafia swear by them.
Josh, don't worry about a dent, it's not going to be the only dent in the Jag.
👍🏽🇺🇸👍🏽 coming along nicely
Nice
At least you have a smooth floor. For rolling things.
Haynes manual has very good wiring in the back of the book
180/30 injector means 180 cc 30% oversized nozzle. Never heard of Rosewood, and I used to work for an injector rebuilder.
Ryan’s diesel service
Holy Rollers 😂
Most people would have just found a set of temporary wheels.
Hard to believe there isn't a set lurking around there someplace.
The Holy Rollers do look like they are efficient to a point 😮 Oops well they can always be demilled.
This series is awesome. Just a ton of fabrication.
You heard it here from Josh, Dodge wiring sucks! Lol!
Was cursed in the factory in 55 to always have bad grounds. Once you can figure that out, they're just like a Chevy.
Put brushes in with the twin sticks like the factory ones but bigger brushes
Heh, Jagwire - company making cables and shifter parts for bicycles. Jaguar - jungle cat / British car. ;p
You know how many dialects of English there are? Not everyone says "Jag-you-are" Jaguar.
@@koreykilburn5303 *eye roll* No fooling... Sense of humour broken much?
If you are going to throw that pedal way I’ll take it. I’m local to yall and go to oak ridge every weekend 😆
S curve on the 4wd shifters
Just do a wicked wheel kit for the turbo did it on my 7.3 and it was night and day difference
How about trying ( area diesel ) for your turbo.
I'm still running tank recovery winches from WW2, I ripped my friends new Ford F350 into two half showing how strong the old winches were because he was making fun of me for not using new winches when I built my new recovery truck!

Industrial injection is the best
So I was wondering if you could make all the Dodge wiring be buy it self and Jag have it's own operation system buy it self. That way if there is something wrong with the engine operation you chase it down and if there is something wrong with the Jag systems you can figure it out.
Snow brushes will work for your shifter.
KC turbo hands down
Blaylock Turbo Baxter Springs Ks. Custom turbos and colors....
You need to make a a shift knob that holds a jar of Grey Poupon.
Was thinking those castors were hurting when I saw how hard it was to move earlier.
Not sure if anyone else has said it but I’m running kc turbo with the emissions delete pedestal in my 7.3l
Kc turbos are great choice for them style 7.3l
You can just make the twin sticks a tad longer so they stick up higher.
Literally had the same thing happen to a ZJ shell with those rollers it didn’t even have running gear or interior
The Holly Grail will have a solid 2000lb on the scorpion
You need to send your injectors to Industrial Injection and ask them about turbo chargers
Don't forget to make use of that engineering degree and CAD (Cardboard Aided Design)
My motto for working on my vehicles is "Buy once. Cry once". Never go jeep on critical parts.
I remember when I first saw those casters under the jack stands and wondering........
You should of gotten injection from Summitt Racing. I bought some from them for truck and they are still going.
JH diesel in Florida probably knows a thing or 2 on a diesel ⛽️
Hahahah, "Tug n Rub"

18:35 why is tiny dent on a "mad max" wrecker a problem?
Any time you want to know the circumstances just multiple you width 22 times X 3.142 is PI 69.124 always remember the formula is width times PI 3.142
hopefully the tiny amount of chassis flex (should be none you boxed it I think) and/or engine mount flex does not make the fan hit your shroud when your twisted up. Suggest when you got tires on it .... flex it out with jacks etc...... and check that? Would hate to see a fan blade sheer and take out your radiator. Dat would be a bad day.
I've been using my jack stands like this for a while now. I'll be sure not to put any significant weight on it now 😳
ya its weird the old ones held up fine but the new ones have different cheaply made casters that just fell apart.
Every time I see that sign I want to fold it and put it in the corner.
Haynes manuals. My auto electrical go to.
I want to see this Out in Moab With TrailMater..
Not to kick anyone when they're down, but that caster explosion was entirely predictable... Loving this build though, save the destruction for the trail!
That wasn't Josh's fault. You can't put 250lb (even 4x = 1000 lbs) capacity casters on a 6-ton jack stand.
Why is it when I hear him he sounds like the mr Roger’s of the 4x4 world?
