Thanks for letting everyone know the OnX Build Challenge vote was opened back up to non-members. You guys got my vote today. Lovin' the build, that is one crazy project. When you were doing the back panel you could've saved yourself the trouble of measuring by simply cutting the outline from both full sheets, placing the short side in place first, overlaying it with the long side and then scribing the cut line. That would've eliminated the necessity of measuring, and also guaranteed accuracy. Just a thought.
The last measurement is how cool it looks. With that flex, I think you got a solid 11 out of 10. Also jealous you can drive golf carts around a scrap yard to pick parts.
We have Golfcarts at our PULL-A-PARTS here in BIRMINGHAM, AL. I just have a project I need worked on. I'm a vet slightly disabled and not enough money to get the job done. It's hard living on disability when ya get $1,000.00 a month. 65% goes to bills. You split the other 35% up into groceries and gas and car parts. And if a car part breaks during the month, the following month. You you do with out food to pay for 1simple small part.
As an old industrial electrician bending pipe has been my way of life for a long time. I think you doing a great job with what you are working with. A level is your friend when bending pipe, a no dog bolt on level helps keep everything on the same plane. Just bolt it where you made the make top mark. The build is looking good.
Great job Josh n Matt 👏💕👍 Loved seeing all the tube bending, and yes we know what snap back is! 😆 PS- love Josh's new Mini and his junkyard finds for it. What the heck did he trade for it? A beetle or jetta or what 🤔
I really like the progress I agree that when you are fabricating mock up to make sure everything fits is part of the process. What you are building is one of a kind
Trying to figure out what you guys are trying to accomplish here. Spend more money maybe?... But I guess it's good content. It's like a train wreck, I can't stop watching 😂
Hey @bleepinjeep Matt! You should utilize the pockets you created in the wheel well to make storage lockers for recovery equipment. Make a door and close it up inside
I "in boarded" the coils on the Comanche. I'm a little worried about them being in the middle of the tubes, but there was no room between the frame and tires. You've probably already built something by now 😆 but coilovers are better cause you could angle them in like Toyota struts maybe. Excited to see what you did there.
So an early 60s Chevy truck small window.. would probably work really well I've actually got a brand new one in a box in my shop with the rubber sealed to install it.. they will install to any flat surface.. get with me if you want it
It's spring back and all the electricians watching this know about it. And us good electricians no what a no dog is too. but you can improvise one by tie wiring a torpedo level across where you made your reference mark on the end of the tube. That way when you flip it over to bend the opposite way, if you get it level again, the the whole thing will lay flat on the floor and true.
Just went and voted IT FINALLY LET ME geeez man. Seriously I couldn't vote for like a week. Isn't it weird when this contest started Hollie was in last place ,then all of a sudden bammm she's in second. Don't know guy's this years On X is weird. Great job though guy's can't wait for the next one.
Try a windshield or back window for an old vw beetle. They're small and the curves might match the jag better. Both are flat and are gasket set (not urethaned in)
11:40 - The “So Scare” is a spinoff of the Doge Meme where you oversimplify two words to make a loose statement. Another example is “Many Wow” or “Much Curious” 😂 Stupid internet things ❤
Last year's ride by Colt was named "Smoke Show". I think this year's project should be called "💩 show" 😂. Not because it will turn out bad, more so for the process and the 32 vehicles used to create it. 2nd suggestion would be Frankenstein
18:47 when i cut multiple layers i tend to tack the edges instead of clamping takes just a second to cut back apart and it doesn't seem to move or sag as much
A little late to comment here, nut you did not have the safety latches on the lift legs engaged. Always have those splines locked to keep the legs from being able to rotate on their pins.
80s Dodge d50 dakota is 68.5" wide yall need 70". A sheet metal flashing coming off jag body correcting the .75" difference could work nicely and still look good.
i knew when i saw those vote numbers it was not human..the spike was too sudden..cant voice it out due to they was "beloved" youtubers to others it would be controversial..i'm still rooting for team Bleepinjeep !
@bleepinjeep (Josh & Matt ) if you guys have enough left over, why not build up the ACTUAL TOYOTA ITSELF and let it become a "ticket auction" vehicle. Buy 2 ROLLS OF TICKETS. ( WHO WOULDN'T WANT ONE OF BLEEPIN JEEPS TRUCK BUILDS ) I would cut off a toe every 80 miles between my place and yours just to get 1. And NOOO I DON'T WANT TO LOSE ALL 5 TOES😂😂😂😂😂.

getting crazier by the day, lol
Use a Sunroof, use it vertically and it will go up and down
That would take a lot of work to make it function
@@laserbuckshot yeah, why do something that requires effort
@@laserbuckshot do you see how not easy what they’re doing is? I’d weld the sheet on, cut a hole and call it a window. Because I’m BLEEPING LAZY

The holes behind the rear doors would be excellent places for storage boxes. Just box them in and put doors on them.
we're on it, but possibly from the inside as the doors are in a vulnerable spot
In high school, a buddy of mine had a 4 speed k-car. It was fantastic!!
You guys are unbelievable. The way you guys cut that back piece out .. what a great video thank you . 👍👍👍👍👍
Ford built and owned Jaguar 1990 to 2008 all models are really Fancy Ford's.
I would make that fender spot on back a compartment of some sort.
Perfect size for the Yankem ropes

Love the attention to detail in this build! Great work guys!
Our pull a part here in El paso is murder trying to walk thru all that soft sand 😂 the golf cart is a must
21:23 😂 Just Josh thinking he had a welding helmet on?
Yep, poor guy leaned right into it!
@jamesonward5141 been there, done that! Luckily it was stick welding and he didn't get a clean arc started right away 🤣
Oof! He'll be seeing spots for a while.
lol, poor Josh

5:05 LOL I did hatch thing on my durango when I cut it in half. Yeah it didnt really work.

Great job guys. Thank you 😊
Get yourself a muffler clamp for your tubing. Put it on the end of the tube, and attach a level. Then there is no eyeballing a vertical mark.
It's looking awesome that toyota Truck Windows in the back will look pretty cool
So far I like you guy's build the best.
darn straight!
Ah its arts and crafts with bleeping jeep!
Sweet! They fixed the voting!
Looking good.
Hope to see you guys soon wheeling
Keep up the good work
You should work the "bend and snap" scene from "Legally Blonde" into your snap back talks lol
The most luxurious pull-a-part of all time…golf carts…you can bring in a sawz all! Jealous! Awesome build!
44:50 Future so bright, he's gotta wear shades!!
Nice progress Gentlemen.
Looking good guys 👍👍
Hey @bleepinjeep Matt! You should utilize the pockets you created in the wheel well to make storage lockers for recovery equipment. Make a door and close it up inside
Wondered why the voting got a little wonky! You’ve got my contributions 🎉❤
This XJ, this build, you guys, are pure comedy but also awesome. Please follow up getting that hood ornament cast please, please.
got any lead for chrome plating it?
@@bleepinjeep I'll keep an eye out.
For the patern transfer if you use a light farther up and trace the shadow it works good
should have left the fender flare to match the jag body style
You could use that dead space behind the rear wheel well for recovery ropes, tools, etc. great way to make more space.
awesome content as always
I was thinking the same thing before he said it.Damn rights, we know about snapback
You could build little storage boxes where the wheel wells are just an idea
“Don’t say anything dumb“ I thought you were talking to me 😎
Looking good if you live through this project to finish it!!! Lol
#SPRINGBACK
the tube seems to be a little light duty side wall, I mean dont get me wrong i am the one outside looking in love your builds

No wonder I can’t find any Milwaukee batteries. Matt has them all.
Crazy rig !
This thing is such an abomination and I love it!

Those spots would be great for an air compressor and premier power welder.
Still difficult to vote. Had to login multiple times. Finally able to. Noticed BleepinJeep needs more votes!

T-Shirt opportunity " I need a JunkYard "
4:42 Anything with The #8 Dale JR’s number should be fast
Fairmont straight 6 would be a 200 or 250
For the 👁️ eyeball build please do a old VW beetle lol and make the headlights 👀
El Camino style transition!

Try a windshield or back window for an old vw beetle. They're small and the curves might match the jag better. Both are flat and are gasket set (not urethaned in)
You should use a sun roof as a rear window. Do it right and it would still be operable.
the RAMuar
New hats? I need one!
Snapback? Is that a new boy band? Lol
Maximus. ❤ the vids
The back window should be a hatch. If it pops open, you get more room and better air flow

All you need is to graft an el camino on the back … even the roof line will work…😃
Josh is still seeing spots!
I call it spring back
Stick with a sharpie.... how about a flashlight held along the side of the body in a darkened shop? Have youz guyz never done this stuff before?
nope, never done anything before, actually I was born yesterday
Never heard ig called "snap back" before. I call it "spring back".
18:47 when i cut multiple layers i tend to tack the edges instead of clamping takes just a second to cut back apart and it doesn't seem to move or sag as much

From from to back would the Coronal plane.
You need an Explorer Sport-Trac box
A little late to comment here, nut you did not have the safety latches on the lift legs engaged. Always have those splines locked to keep the legs from being able to rotate on their pins.
I'll bet a Dodge D-50 cab would be pretty close
I have been trying to vote for you on the website, but I've grown frustrated trying to sign in.
An 80s dodge d50 dakota i think would be a good match for the cab
80s Dodge d50 dakota is 68.5" wide yall need 70". A sheet metal flashing coming off jag body correcting the .75" difference could work nicely and still look good.

Where did get the tubes for the build
If you guys were smart, you would call it the Dodge JAM get it Jaguar / Ram “JAM” Jam on it!!!!!! Please up vote so they can see this!
U need the bed of a El Camino
I'd have just pulled fiberglass cloth tight across the back and than apply resin, have a lightweight cheap rear piece.

you need a suzuki or datsun pickup bed. small.
FYI you can flip a golf cart very easily if you drive like a maniac in reverse. Speaking from personal experience.
if you had broke the top edge of the panel in to hit the factory roof would have looked better
Why don't you use the existing backend of the Jag and trim the truck and have some storage and back there.
Wat about turning the wheel well holes into a storage cubby
we are ahead of you on this one... but probably from the inside since a door on the outside would get ripped off in no time!
@@bleepinjeep going to need places to keep all the overland junk
