- Tragic
I see you because you are tragic
And I need you for the same
There's a little bit of you in me
You can't escape what you became
You have the look of ill fate about you
You and all your brothers too
And I reach out as if I contain the antidote
But of course I don't
I see you because you are tragic
And I need you for the same
There's a little bit of you in me
You can't escape what you became
Although we share pain and despair
Somehow you are predisposed to
Suffer the most
I see you because you are tragic
I'll look for you in the rain
[lyrics uncertain here]
The roots you wanted to grow
Will never take you know
Cause this is all just an exercise
And you're not alone
I see you because you are tragic
And I need you for the same
There's a little bit of you in me
You can't escape what you became
I see you because you're so tragic
And I need you for the same
(Reason)
There's a little bit of you in me
I'll look for you in the rain
I see you because you are tragic
And I need you for the same
There's a little bit of you in me
You can't escape what you became
I see you because you're so tragic
And I need you for the same

Lovely song very melancholy - she is such a gifted songwriter.
there is such recognition in these words and a close understanding of others lives,,,,
What a beautiful song - Happy has such a stunning voice .
Some sad images in your slideshow - makes you despair , man's cruelty knows no end.
''There's a little bit of you in me
I'll look for you in the rain
I see you because you are tragic
And I need you for the same
There's a little bit of you in me
You can't escape what you became''
listening to these words it is obvious that it comes from experience and i find her song and singing close to the Divine...
What a nice, yet a sad song.
in her life she takes in sick stray and unwanted cats on her farm...i love her voice and the songwriting is all self taught..
Hello MAry ..it is so nice to hear from you !! The singer
has a lovely voice....and the song very meaningful !!
the images show so many unhappy situations..hopefully
they all were adopted...Good evening to you...Polly
to my mind this songwriter is closer to Reality and Spirituality, and in her words Love and deep understanding remain...i could listen to her a thousand times Polly and never tire....in her own life she takes in sick and stray cats that are unwanted....you are right the song has great meaning.....
so glad you found this song ...i was thinking of you today..i love these words
and feel this song is truly beautiful and almost a Prayer.....
the Strays and homeless touch my heart and the Misused....my prayer is always that Gods hand will help them ...through Rescuers who know Love, that resides in us All and that each Soul is counted as part of our own...
What a sad video my friend. Thank you so much. Have a great night Mary. God Bless you. ♥

amazingly Oreo i read stopped at a Red Light as he was trained to do
even in his panic
showing some sadness
Hi Mary sad but thought provoking, its also good to think animal cruelty has come a long way over the years and is no longer acceptable in so many countries
wullie
i love her songwriting and find her singing so beautiful and she herself loves stray and sick cats and has found them a loving home on her farm...and she is bound to them....thanks for your comment Wullie.its good to find you here...
