Two fans Dave. One to exhaust during the warmer daylight hours and another to circulate air across the ceiling. Easy and inexpensive. And aren’t pond hobbies fun!
Enjoyed you video with Joe and Simon. Looking forward to upcoming videos. What a mess you had with your inner roof liner. The new one looks much better. Hope it sorts the problem. Where did you get the net that’s covers your pond? I want to get one like you have. Looks much more tidy than a net on pvc pipe frame like mine.
Hiya bud - The nets are custom made through Norfine nets. You can buzz them and they will custom size for you. They aren’t cheap but really well made. Pulled tight enough I’d happily lay on it as they have very little give/stretch. If you get stuck, drop me a message 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for watching 👍🏼 Being honest, this isn’t something I’ll do again. It’s got a lot colder since that video was recorded - it’s on a whole new level now! Thankfully the dpc is doing its job and the cold air is travelling above via the soffits to keep the cavity semi drive/damp. Back to normal covers next year! Have a great weekend 👌🏼
Hi Dave, Another great update on the pond project that you have been doing mate also were did you get your tancho goshiki from it looks nice one. Happy New year to you and your family mate. Steve
The purpose for me heating is to avoid the woes of winter and continue growing the koi for as long as possible. Completely agree that it’s not needed, more a want than a need. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍🏼
Keeping you busy and fit with all that climbing and stretching Dave, what a flipping job!!! . Gwen 🧓
Not to sure about the fit bit 😂😂
Hopefully problem solved Dave…. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👍🏼

Thanks for the great feedback 👍🏼 The net is from Norfine nets. They are made custom for your pond 👌🏼
Nice work big man! 💪🏼
Thanks bud 👍🏼
Where did you get your net from? Was it made to measure or did you just get lucky, my net looks a mess while yours looks bang on tidy

Oh dear not good Dave think I would try putting some Air vents in or a extractor fan in this should solve the problem
I think I’ll just pretend it isn’t there 😂😂
get a extraction fan should help a lot to solve the condensation issues, absolutely need some ventilation or it will always be like that

Ah...the joy of having a koi pond. If things like you're dealing didn't happen with what fun would having a pond be? 🤣🤣
Erm….. I’ll refrain from answering that 😂😂
Hi Dave,
Another great update on the pond project that you have been doing mate also were did you get your tancho goshiki from it looks nice one.
Happy New year to you and your family mate.
Steve
Happy new year bud 👍🏼👍🏼
Looking good there Dave and oh yes that condensation can be an absolute biatch 💯🧁👍👍👍
Thanks Vince buddy 👍🏼
Isn't fish keeping relaxing eh Dave 😊
😂😂😂
to cold for pond work sir
Tell me about it 😂
Condensation will form on the underside of the boards that’s how a twin skin tent works so it’s not on the inside skin
Thankfully the waters forming on the new layer I bodged. Lesson learned for next year…… don’t do it 😂 Have a top weekend 👍🏼
You don't cover on rivers, and don't put heaters in them, fish survive
