When you dropped a mention on stream that you were already cooking an all class for Masq I got very excited. Not only is all class content my favorite type of content from you but this boss actually means a lot to me. In Classic it basically served as my training grounds on how to push classes capabilities (as well as my own) further. It's not an exaggeration to say that Masq plays a very integral part of what cemented my love for the franchise as a whole. So seeing one of my top favorite streamers play against one of my favorite bosses was bound to be an enjoyable experience!~ Unlike your Solo Solus video I have less commentary here, mainly because I haven't courted NGS Masq yet. But I still would like to note a few things: 1) Of the entire roster of classes I think I want to crown Braver as my favorite showcase here. You get to see a good mixture of half parries, Fearless procs (including some perfect FA's) and multi parries against the projectiles. You also show off some support of bow in here which absolutely wasn't needed but much appreciated. 2) My second favorite thing in this video was seeing the end of the Ranger segment. This boss is a bit too fast/all over the place to setup a lot of mines. But you manage to squeeze in some fallen impact shots to where he TP's which looks cool. Double that with it still raining down while you hit Masq with Launcher's PB. I absolutely love moments on Ranger where you have multiple instances of damage happening at once. But the finisher being a mine you shot at his teleport away was simply beautiful. 3) Perhaps small thing, but the early fire of your compound ice tech into wand parry was VERY lovely to see. I still like Force more than Te (esp in this video) but that was really really cool! 4) Those double parries with Waker into Marm were sick! To close I want to thank you for yet another all class video. You clearly care about these kinds of projects a lot (if the editing wasn't a dead give away) and I think it should be mentioned that dropping it so close to the launch of this content is above and beyond IMO. You work hard and it's very much appreciated. See you around~
katy doing katana had me stressed at times because of the timing and how she managed to pull everything off even when the moves where coming one right after another. Overall amazing video and great job!
I'm glad! I think aside from just repetition and solidifying muscle memory, a lot of improvement comes from learning the ins and outs of a class across all kinds of fights in the game, and not just one. A lot of the 1v1 fights like Bujin, Monkey, Kelkundo, etc. are very helpful -- and this definitely includes Masquerade now. After 1v1ing the smaller things, I recommend just trying to solo things like Solus or MDFA. But I do think Masquerade is a great training buddy for anyone trying to improve. He moves fast, he's not too boring, and he teaches you how to utilize all the parts of your class kit.
Its 4 of each augment right? How does that work? LC augs have LS S as well. Then there are regular augments plus their respective S variants. Is there some rule to follow?
Hi! So Abandac caps out at 20 unique augment names. This includes things like: Lux Halphinale Lux Halphinale S (Whale Augment from scratch bonus) Majis Halphinale (The New One) or Highstira Domina Highstira Domina LC Highstira Domina LCS (from Treasure Shop) They all use the same slot in augmenting, but because their names are different, they each account for their own unique space in counting Abandac. With 4 pieces of gear (Weapon, 3x units), the goal is to use as many BIS augments as you can while accounting for the unique names. For weapons, the 3x EX slots already account for 3 unique names -- this makes it so you only have to focus on 17 more. For example, my weapon will have Lux Halphinale. My Unit #1 has Lux Halphinale S, while my Unit #2 has Majis Halphinale. And because there are no other Halphinale-type augments that can create a unique name for Unit #3, I just have another Lux Halphinale there. You essentially have 28 augment slots to work with and achieve 20/20; however, Abandac 5 is so strong that even 16/20 is stronger than Attack 5, assuming you have the same quality of augments on both. Hope this helps! ✨
