He makes plays that don't make sense at all. Like bluffing with 22 at the river without blockers, then raising out of position with 67off and calling an all-in with only an open-ended with three clubs in the board, and he doesn't have one in his hand. Every year there's a history of a big fish getting lucky.

Zhang was a fish who was getting lucky that his opponents couldn't catch hands, big betting at random to win against their trash. As soon as people eventually hit on him he got found out. Not the smartest guy. He must've known everyone had seen his wild play going into today, yet he just kept doing it, hoping everyone will miss all day again. No way anyone was folding to him if they got anything decent. He did the exact opposite of what he should've done, and he started doing it during the first few orbits. He believed his own hype and paid the price. 🤦‍♂️

Almost identical situation happened to me a couple of years back when I flopped quad 10s vs AQd after being all in pre flop. The 10d was on the flop and my opponent ran out the royal flush. Hard to feel too aggrieved given how memorable the hand was.

If a Football team needs to play every 40 seconds and basketball team needs to shoot every 24 seconds, both under extreme pressure, I see no reason there could not be a strict (player must hit the button - otherwise hand is dead) 30 second clock. The amount of time taken by players is the number one reason holding back poker from being a more entertaining mainstream product.
It will add a few more mistakes which is absolutely needed. NOTHING is more boring than perfect play in any game.
How many more years will the poker community stay in the past.

What rubbish - Footballers and basketball players get payed regardless, win or lose. Poker is about bluff and counter bluff. Might as well just play online poker which truly is boring AF. As long as the other guys don't call time, it's fair to me. Except when it's completely obvious that somebody is trying to waste time to up a level.

@@SilverfoxJB - Thx for your reply. I play in tournaments locally that have a 10 second clock. Its fast and it can suck at times.
30 seconds is plenty to make an informed decision. If you can't do that then what does poker gain by dragging it out? All the reasons I have heard previously are selfish ones.
There are many obvious benefits to making it much faster for the audience and other players.
