We have 2 of these beds. And my mind is blown how you put 2 matrasses the way it could actually fit. Few weeks ago we had to bunk the kids together on one of those beds and the other matras didnt fit so it kinda folded upwards. Hahaha now i feel dumb hahahahahaha. Glad to have encountered this vid.
@@Jamilah-hv9ky very cool cause of the storage and you can change the size I would reccomend getting a thicker mattress than the ikea one though but store the other one somewhere when you are using it as small
After a year you posted this video, how has this bed been? Still good quality? Some reviews in the Ikea website people were saying it was breaking after a few times using it.
idk if my bed is build wrong but when I pull the other „bed“ out it’s really hard to do so and the part where u gotta pull it out (the part that holds the mattress) isn’t fully IN the bed like u can’t push it fully inside the bed when pulled out so I don’t understand that
I need a tutorial i have most of this built but the last bit where you put together the head, foot, and back board and then somehow connect it all i’m lost. Idk how to put the head, foot, and back board together then connect them
I am facing an issue with the pull up side of the bed when someone sleeps on it. It causes a lot of back pain. Not though if i sleep on the bed frame side. Has any using this daybed from ikea experienced this, any suggestions ?
I have this bed, please tell me what mattress you are using because the king is too big and the ones it comes with are horrible. Also if you use 2 twins they bend upwards I hear so idk what to do 😒

I had this bed for about 8 years, but when we had to move again my parents gave it to a foster family. I miss it, but I’m glad they got it.

the bed is the poorest quality, had it for the last couple of years and after ocasional use it broke in multiple places!

Seems like it won't be level? The lower bed is shorter than the top bed? How is it leveled evenly head to foot
It is completely level
The design is pretty simple
The slats run offset to each other to allow for the pulling out of frame
Very uncomfortable especially if you end up in the fold of the bed
