i think it can be too late sometimes. you can help financially or with a place to stay but values... instilling the right values into the child that has to be in the early years. for that i think he is too late.
Yes! He is a true man. He looked devastes when he heard his daughter say she was homeless. Oh my gosh. I don’t think I’ve cried this much before on an episode.
He really don’t want to call her mother a liar but it’s obvious that she is. She took that secret to her grave made her believe another man was her father. She should be grateful that her father is a fighter and he kept looking even after they tried to shut him out.
Kita Patton That part had me SMDH, and still does. Losing a mother and the man who she thought was her real father in a car crash only to find out her true father is not only still alive, but kept the search going even when her family tried to sweep that under the rug...I can understand why her emotional guard was up. But gotta let it down now -- you *are* the father! :)
exactly, like when she got mad about the break up saying "you shouldn't have let other people get in her head, you shouldn't have left".. he kept saying he didn't leave her, it was her choice. the daughter can't hold that against him, he couldn't control her mother, she was her own person. so why blame him? and then to get mad that he isn't great at facebook stalking... sweetie, he's from a generation when computers didn't exist in homes or schools... she expects too much
I was going to say the same thing. People his age hArdly knows how to use the computer which he should have just told her he wasn't good at computers and such.
What a strong man. Not just in that he continued his search for over 20 years, but that he never lost his temper or spoke ill of others. He had no legal right to see his daughter but he didn't yell at her for continually saying he should have done more. The mother lied to her daughter and he never called her a liar or a sneak. He explained himself without being defensive despite attacks. What a great character, he would have been a fantastic role model for her growing up. Hopefully now that she lives with him and they are working through things she can get her sons back and they can have him as a positive influence.
He's a warrior! Men like him are a throwback. We keep it moving. Never flinching in the face of adversity. No matter how many hoes get in our way. Quarter of a century on, and still going strong like it's nothing. Until the very end. WARRIOR!
Moon Bun ... EXACTLY! She acts like she can’t comprehend that her mother lied to her and the family upheld the lie after her death! I’m not judging, she may have had what she felt was a good reason to do that. But young lady be grateful to God that this man was looking for you and refused to give up! There are so many that KNOW they have children 5 minutes away and won’t look AT them, let alone FOR them! But maybe it was a defense mechanism until she heard the results. 🤷🏽♀️ I’m very happy for the both of them either way, and pray they are doing well and becoming a family and supporting each other.
Cadillac Deville That is so true. Her mother may have felt scorn and got with the other man and he accepted the child as him; glad they found one another!
I believe he was truly genuine when he said he tried very hard to find her. And the fact that she has never seen baby pictures of herself and he has one was so awesome. This was the best episode so far.
And how he spoke about her mother! So reflective, respectful and loving. I'm 40 years old and I still love hearing stories about my parents from back in the day. He can share this with her now.
Now I'm adopted I just hope that she's actually more respectful to him. Because the way she talked to him doing this episode before the results I promise you if it was me I would have left. She was just so nasty and it's like I understand you may be hurt but how do you think he feel looking for you for your whole life.
@@abdulabdul-qg3mc aw you don't get that. so parents don't have feeling? you don't want me in your life ok. SO YOU DO BETTER. The fact that you are okay with an adult child talking to their potential parents like that. Just the disrespect to your elders come on now.
Exactly. Searching for people on the internet is a relatively new thing. I'm still fairly young but I remember a time when everybody didn't have a computer or the internet. 🤷🏽♀️
THANK YOU!!!!! I say this ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time with these types of cases!!!!!! I understand the pain but emotions have to be put aside to think clearly and fairly. So glad this worked out.
I have this episode saved on my phone. Have watched it up to 500 times over 4 years but I still couldn't hold the tears. I HV cried 500times over this episode.A father !!!!!aaaaah!!!!! You can't beat that luv.wish I had an update on them but I know they will be good. His love will cover all faults. May God bless them.
Who's heart was beating fast??? I was hoping, she does look like him... that was best Paternity Court I've seen! No ratchetness, yelling, arguing, JUST PURE LOVE. ❤💕❤💕 Blessings to them.
He knew why he stayed astray but he didn't want to say nothing bad about his daughter mother so he played it safe... God allowed him back in her life when she needed him MOST
This is my favorite episode EVER-!!! I cry all over again every time I watch it... I met my real father at age 22, when he hired a private detective to find me. I know exactly how this girl feels, and it’s ENORMOUS EMOTIONALLY... After that, for the first time in my life, I finally felt “complete”. 💖
what a wonderful story!!!!!!!!! my bf actually met his dad almost two years ago now, and he just turned 25! so when he was 23 he finally was able to find him! i love these stories 💖
How could you hope for something good and extremely rare to happen when your whole life was horrible up to that point. It would be too much to hope for.
She's hurt....when you hurt over and over again by the people that are so to love and protect you....You eventfully take that hurt store it away and it turns into doubt and bitterness.
His story has to be truthful because the mother would’ve said something to someone about him. They kept this poor girl from her father. But he never spoke bad of the mother 👏🏽👏🏽
@@kayshatyson4739 Wow!!! I was thinking the same thing also! AND they were living together while they were in college too!!! Beautiful ending though. ❤❤❤
ain't a daddy IF he can't be there for his child or children. IF they let their spouse decide when and IF they see their children, they are NOT a man. I know this does happen, unfortunately. someone let his spouse tell him how and when he was allllowed to see his first 2 children. wellll, he let her run his life, she's dead from a brain tumour, and he's lost his first 2 kids. his loss, his fault, and nowhere close .. to being a man.

I like the way he handle himself in court so calm real gentleman don't care how much the young say he's not her father he remain calm never bash her mother he know she was his happy ending.she not homeless no more she cud get her kids now wow he search for her never gave up hope now she will inherit a life time of memories God bless that family.
My father passed a year ago and this episode has me in tears. A father's love to a girl is everything! She's so blessed that he cared. Called the court everyday, he's a man about his! I'm so happy for them!
What a beautiful outcome....she deserved this blessing. I wish them all the luck in world. He remind me of my daddy, just wants you to feel loved happy.
This man is a hero honestly, searched for 24 years. My father has access to me and my little sister and still chooses not to be in our lives. We need more fathers like these. Bless them all🙏🏼
Your mamma probably the problem and he aint trying to get get into it with her..if you knon where he at YOU go find him and aal him was up and maybe you hear the reaaon why it hasnt happened.
I swear men just CAN'T get a break even with all these cases that we see everyday of these women swearing up and down they wasn't sleeping with NOBODY ELSE and Judge Lauren drop that hammer and say "he is NOT the father"... it seems we got to be responsible for everybody smh...
This probably my favorite episode so far! Had me in tears! 😭 I’m so happy he’s the father! You could tell that he really did try to look for her and faced many obstacles but I’m glad that she finally has someone and doesn’t have to feel alone!
This one is the first so far that brought tears to my eye's. Just so happy for the father in his endless work that finally paid off. Praise to God. God bless... 🙏❤✨💕
She has to understand that he didn’t come from the social media age... and you can’t really find anyone until they get an address and have mail so it’s not just easy to find someone under 18
My son had to fight for years but now has full cusdody of his two daughters 🙏💜 every child has the right to be loved and nurtured by both sides of the tribe . rise above adversely.
I think her moms family didnt approve of their relationship and did their best to keep them apart. And once the mom was in another relationship he probably did not want to cause any problems out of respect. Maybe he had a rough life and was not in the best position at that young age... Sad that her extended family did not tell her the truth even as an adult and she was going through so much, they should have told her so she could have got some support from him earlier.
I was sold when he pulled out that sonogram picture. Plus he said he was going by her family's house every Christmas. The family was probable getting an assistance check for taking her in after her parents passed away. If he was established as father that would go away. All in all I'm just glad they have found each other and pray for a positive turn for her and her children.
Do ya’ll realize the timing of this? She’s homeless, with two kids. In her mind she a orphan. Her father came with blessings, love that she missed, and now a scholarship. How amazingly beautiful. Really happy for her.
The man felt it in his heart for 24 years. What man but only a good man would chase down some person he THINKS is his?!. Love that man a prime example of how fathers should be!. 🎉🎉🎉💖💖💖💖
Big respect that he didn't reveal all the bad the child's mother did even though it would of made his statements more believable.Sometimes as a man you have to role with the punches to protect the child❤️👍
he's a honorable man,a EDUCATED man TOO, she's blessed❤❤I was looking at her giving him the side eye, looking at her own face and not seeing it? pop eyes the lips, she's just like him!The judge saw it too, when she asked her who did she think she looked like 👀
People who says her attitude is bad, y'all need to understand this young lady was alone in the world at 8, DETROIT IS NOT A NICE PLACE- ITS HARD AF, she lost people who she knew her parents to be. Any human being will develop a wall to protect their sanity & emotions. Plz understand that!! I'm happy with this ending. It could be a plot for a movie!!
She acted like anyone would if someone suddenly popped up out of the blue and said they were your father, when she had believed all her life someone else was her father. She wasn't being nasty, she was like where did you come from? I never heard of you.
This is one of the most heart warming ones I’ve ever seen! This poor girl lost her mom and the guy she believed to be her father and had no one... then she finds out she does have a father! Amazing.
Every word that came out of this girl's mouth was cause of her pain growing up thinking and believing she had lost both parents, she didn't believe him cause her mother had said nothing to her, which is understandable, I mean who doesn't trust and believe their mom. I salute this man for looking, they both needed each other. Best episode ever
You are right, I guess my nerves were irked when she kept saying he wasn't trying hard enough. I know she was in pain, but that's the only part that bothered me.
What also touched me is how this girls doubt didn't change even after he said he would be there for her emotionally and financially, when she needs it the most. She was speaking her truth, and being a wholesome person in saying it. I'm so happy for them. All the best.
She didn't want to believe her mother had lied to her...I think her mother weighed her options and went with whom she thought was most stable...He had already stated that he didn't want to be married and he was focused on school.I assume her mom was very young...
This case took me over the edge and into eyes full of tears. She mentioned she was homeless. I bet you she's not homeless no more. What an awesome stand of FATHER to call THE show EVERY DAY until he found his baby girl WITH TRUTH BACKING HIM!!! Look @ GOD MOVE!!!!!
He said the reason he upped his search was because he saw someone else die with nobody to leave his estate to. Knowing he had a daughter, this guy wanted to put her in his will. That sounds like he has some sort of means and he said he was there to support her. She also got a college scholarship. Hopefully, she will make a better life and get her sons back. She sounded like she misses them and felt hopeless. It's great to see her get not only material help, but emotional support as well. Plus, this show makes sure people have counselling afterward. I think she's going to be ok now.
@@songsalieri He said he can take very good care of her. I'm glad she's his. God has a way of showing up and out. Had he passed, she would have never known he was actually her father.
I don't think he wanted to bad mouth her mother so he wasn't really explaining what happened back then properly. I'm happy for her all is not lost after all.
This so wonderful that he never stop trying to find his daughter. After 24 years most men would've never cared and moved on. I'm just so sad that the mom wasn't here in person, but in spirit to see this for her daughter. Good luck to you both.
I literally just cried my eyes out. This man looked for her for 24 years. My own father lives 3hrs away from me and I haven't seen him in 3years. Clearly, mine wasn't made from the same cloth. Smh... I'm glad he was able to find her!! ❤
Blasianaire my father lived about a 10 min walk away from me and barely was in my life. I later sort of forced my way in because I could go on my own and I wanted to spend time with my younger brothers. I don’t hold any ill will because he was always a wonderful grandfather to my daughter so I let any of those feelings melt away. Still would’ve been nice to have a dad though but I’m happy my daughter has a grandfather.
People my age (30s) don't even know how to use Google properly, so I understand how someone his age could be searching and not find her. Sometimes older people and technology don't mix. But he found her now. That's all that matters.
Thank you Deb1920 for saying this. I'll be 60 soon and I need help still from my kids and grandson. I have a 45 year old friend who be asking for my help navigating the internet. It's not that easy for most of us in this technological world. You said it best Dear.

@@tinasoblessed6350 no disrespect, but not everyone adapts fast enough. Some do, some don't. For example, I'm 26 and I have basic technology knowledge, I can look up anything, I can use social media in my sleep, etc, however...my 32 year old husband just can't, technology grows too fast for him...he needs help with new phones, etc. He can use Google, but Google is just the tip of the iceberg
hahaha I'm 57 and a computer wiz. Just not everyone my age is the same, but most of my friends are computer savvy. A few only, those that are less educated are worse off than me computer wise. My mom was doing well at 75 on the computer, using skype, email etc. She even started doing art on the computer. And that was 10 years ago, before she died! No need to generalize about us "ol' folks"! :) I'm just happy he finally found her and they will work out their issues and she will hopefully get her kids back now that she's living with him and he will take good care of her. PLUS she will get a free education from the university where her parents met and fell in love. Better late than never! YEAH! Happy ending.
Too many bad things had happened to her she just cldn't believe her luck changed tht way. She wasn't willing to be let down again. Happy for her indeed.
@@TodayismyBirthday923 didn't you hear what the judge said he had to be careful because since his name wasn't on the birth certificate he didn't have any rights 🤔
I was stunned . I mean his story made sense and he seemed so convicted that this was his daughter, but I couldn’t see any resemblance whatsoever. So I was shocked with the outcome . Though very happy also . This young lady needed him to enter her life . I sure hope they are doing well now .
I sympathize for this young lady, tears filled my eyes hearing the pain in her voice about not growing up with her parents..what a wonderful ending. Won't he do it, praise God!!!
He’s so patient with her. You can’t force someone to let you see a child. If he’s been trying to get in contact with her and mom is blocking... it’s on mom. Not dad!! Kudos to this man for standing up!
Seems like she was too scared to let her feelings go..didnt want to be disappointed..so happy how this turned out ..💜 she standing there with his whole nose...
A lot of the younger generation thinks that EVERYBODY is on social media. Some older people don't know anything about social media and I know this for a fact. Some have NO INTEREST in knowing about social media. This is a touching story. You've got to give the guy credit because despite what th young lady was saying, obviously, he is the one who went a-looking. Her mother did nothing to bring the real father into her life. She probably had already started a relationship with the other guy before this one was fully out of the picture.
Ruth Ferguson I agree! I'm 42 and I didn't have internet or a cellphone until 2006! I completely remember what it was like to lose contact with people, and not have any idea how to find them. Younger generations don't realize we didn't always have Google and Facebook lol.
He has one of the best motives for wanting to be united with his daughter. When the judge what triggered him to prove his paternity, he said, “I want to leave what I worked hard for to her.” Not so someone can look after me in my old age. He really loves his daughter.
You are too wonderful judge Lake. This paternity court is worth existing for saving lives. The father realy try hard to get his daughter. Better be late than never ..

Yess and family shut it down didn't wanna go there let her believe her mom & dad died in the wreck. 😭 that part....
exactly, like when she got mad about the break up saying "you shouldn't have let other people get in her head, you shouldn't have left".. he kept saying he didn't leave her, it was her choice. the daughter can't hold that against him, he couldn't control her mother, she was her own person. so why blame him? and then to get mad that he isn't great at facebook stalking... sweetie, he's from a generation when computers didn't exist in homes or schools... she expects too much
I totally agree!

She obviously doesn't understand how much a parent can PREVENT the other party from seeing a child.
Cadillac Deville the mother wasn’t so kind to her daughter. It’s horrible but I think the daughter would deny him if it wasn’t for the DNA test.
Hannah Lambert He was obviously referring to when the mother was alive, up until this woman was 7-8 yrs old
Family interference is something you have to experience to believe.
Cadillac Deville That is so true. Her mother may have felt scorn and got with the other man and he accepted the child as him; glad they found one another!

@@camilehaughton9118 it was touching, it was a blessing for her as she was homeless
Enemy Cutz you know, negative things have a way of turning around into something wonderfully positive. I love this episode, touching.
@@ThatDamnTaurus You would have left? Your biological child? Smh. Do better!
@@abdulabdul-qg3mc do better please that man has feeling to. With the way that woman was acting. I wouldn't have blamed him for it.
@@abdulabdul-qg3mc aw you don't get that. so parents don't have feeling? you don't want me in your life ok. SO YOU DO BETTER. The fact that you are okay with an adult child talking to their potential parents like that. Just the disrespect to your elders come on now.

that’s exactly my thought. You would never catch my mother, father, aunties, uncles, in my family on social media.

Soon as I saw the beginning I knew he was the father. I like how he was nodding his head yes right before Judge Lakes read the results
Yes - he handled that so well. And I'm grateful the judge stepped in to explain to the young lady what hindered him from "laying claim".

I think her moms family didnt approve of their relationship and did their best to keep them apart. And once the mom was in another relationship he probably did not want to cause any problems out of respect. Maybe he had a rough life and was not in the best position at that young age... Sad that her extended family did not tell her the truth even as an adult and she was going through so much, they should have told her so she could have got some support from him earlier.
he didnt give up maybe didnt know how to go about things but if he had given up he wouldnt have been in court

*Raises hand* Not as far as I could throw mine.
I agree BEST episode ever!
Oh man 😢 I don't think I've ever wanted someone to be the father that much 😢 What a blessing for them.
This case took me over the edge and into eyes full of tears. She mentioned she was homeless. I bet you she's not homeless no more. What an awesome stand of FATHER to call THE show EVERY DAY until he found his baby girl WITH TRUTH BACKING HIM!!! Look @ GOD MOVE!!!!!
if you notice in the end the father called the court that his girl has moved with him xx

He has one of the best motives for wanting to be united with his daughter. When the judge what triggered him to prove his paternity, he said, “I want to leave what I worked hard for to her.” Not so someone can look after me in my old age. He really loves his daughter.
That was wonderful. Her Mom could have saved her from all the years of being alone.
You are too wonderful judge Lake. This paternity court is worth existing for saving lives. The father realy try hard to get his daughter. Better be late than never ..
Quit calling the man a liar, wait for results.
