Heavier vessel, or a vessel with limited steering like a tug pushing a barge or even a sailboat.
Search up Coast Guard ATONs (Aides to Navigation), it’s very in depth and there’s many more rules than people would imagine on the water. Most boaters never even know this book exists and way too many ignore the most basic of the rules.

It's disappointing that you list the outboard power that we can all see but I only saw one inboard that you listed (twin 1650) It would be nice to know the power of all of those other boats

We don't have these type of Boats in the San Francisco Bay Area even though we have a large protected Bay and a lot of money here. You can be in the protected Bay or head West into the Ocean passing under the Golden Gate Bridge. Our Summer highs are in the 60-70 degree F range and Winter highs 50-60 degree F. Most of our Boats are Sailboats. Must be the Money and warmer Weather in Florida that attracts these Boats.

I'm an old school Mercury 2stroke guy and I was watching the race in Key West Florida, Myth: 4stroke outboards are no match for 2strokes! Total B.S.! I watch these MTI, Skaters and Doug Wright powered by the new generation of 4strokes and they were lapping the old 2strokes😢! That was painful to watch😢!

Wait till all that huge seaweed bloom coming for the FL coast hits....Boats could be in trouble.
No big deal. Happens almost yearly. Just trim up or reverse for a moment if they over heat.
Scientists say that reports of a massive blob of seaweed slamming into coastlines are overblown because the Sargassum algae are scattered across the ocean, and much of the seaweed will never reach the coast’s sandy shores.

Going out to the sea and being followed by a chopper a few feet above you must be cool as fuck. Just like the reverse- following a boat in a chopper so low with that backdrop too. Very cool!
