The best mechanics tool kit for under $100

  • I've watched a lot of channels do mechanics tool kit reviews. But they have missed one that I feel is probably the best overall setup you can possibly get. For the price, the amount of tools you get and the quality of the tools is not bad. I'd pick this kit over anything that's out on the market today. Like you will see in this video it is well laid out and you don't have to keep everything in it that you get. You can change out the tools in the kit and put your own setup in it. You're not limited to what's just in this kit. You can put other tools in it that fits you what you want so it's very versatile. By far what I feel what every guy would want in a tool kit. So if you enjoyed this video on this kit please like and subscribe and comment. I enjoy what people have to say and thanks for watching.

    I spent 20 dollars on a rachet and some metric socket, a crescent wrench, and a plier. It's been 20 years and it's all i've ever needed to fix my truck. But I understand the addiction/obsession with getting EVERYTHING.

    It's a nice budget friendly box. It does reflect in the price even today but it does have some things others don't. For the price it would be a decent kit for the car.

    Chef Shade tree.. Cool video bro. At $99.99 for 324 pieces is just over 30 cents a piece. Can't beat that deal and it has a lifetime warranty.

      Thanks brother. And yeah you can't beat the deal with a stick. And in all actuality, the tools in this kit are better than the tools in the HF 301 piece kit for $199.99. I would actually compare them to any other brands out there in this price market.

    You could never go wrong with the old school craftsman and yes he was for certainly correct as long as you maintained the set .... Sometimes ppl will be surprised just because it is cheap doesn't necessarily mean that it will not get a job done ... Every thing I own started from a cheap inexpensive set as I went along Every other week to a month I would
    Upgrade certain particular sets once I got a particular feel for certain tools but it didn't change me ... I still reach for certain inexpensive equipment over my most expensive equipment and not because your trying to keep something looking pretty but that particular
    Inexpensive tool may possibly be able to help you more faster than the tool that is 10x in value ... Its not tool that makes one its the one behind the tool that makes the Magic work ☕👍

      My dad had Snap-on, Mac and Craftsman in his tool box. What I grew up using and getting to learn how to use tools. If you break something then you are using the wrong tool for the certain job you broke the tool on. Heck when I was younger I didn't have the strength to break so things loose let alone break a tool lol.

    Good job Chef!! That would be a good kit for throwing in your vehicle or your children's vehicles. Add the pliers & you have a good kit for most all emergencies. Good flashlight, duct tape, portable compressor & small battery jump starter to compliment it.

    • @chefshadetree3972

    That Jobsmart tool kit is a good bargain. However, not fond of missing certain sizes of sockets and wrenches. Why? They should be there! A couple are very common sizes.... It would piss me off if I didn't see this review and not know what wasn't included that should be, trying to use it in a pinch.
    Tool arrangement is a bit strange too. You could glue some sort of holders for pliers and screwdrivers to the underside of the lid, to keep it tidy. I do love the roll up wrench pouches, have some of those in my travel toolbox.

    • @chefshadetree3972
      @chefshadetree3972  2 года назад +1

      It's a heck of a bargain for what you get. And like I said what I plan on doing is just buying the extra missing sockets and just throwing them in the box. Can always get a socket holder to hold them or get a little bag and put them in. Not a deal breaker for me.

    • @chefshadetree3972
      @chefshadetree3972  2 года назад +1

      Also I'll have to look into something I could put on the lid to hold those other tools. Actually sounds like a good idea.

    but the little wrenches do have a use when larger wrenches just wont fit so those are ok, nut drivers are ok as well since they have the occasional use, allen keys are ok if you dont have any but otherwise filler, the bits are well just throw them away and buy a real screwdriver set,
