Every year I try to hold off until mid November to start listening to carols, but 2020 has been miserable so I started at the end of September! Very happy to have found this rendition to add to the playlist :)

Being a member of a choir carries with it the despair of having to sing such rubbish. Looking forward to Xmas being over.

gegemec rubbish? Are you wise? One of the most wonderful carols ever written, with such spirit inspired lyrics, and you in your utter pretence, deem it “rubbish”? Have a word with yourself

The banality of Rutter's arrangement would be a joke if we didn't have to sing it.
