Have your maintenance seal areas around your sinks. Also, your building should have an exterminator spraying your apartment regularly. You’ll have to watch for Bennett’s cat food and water being a source that attracts bugs.

If you open your windows make sure you add a window screener so they don’t fly in and enter lance door has a rubber seal so they don’t come into the doors. This happens all the time from older or prewar buildings but with those things I mention it prevents them from getting access
I really enjoyed this vlog. When you showed that bug my eyes became as big as saucers and I gasped. I think if I found a bug that size in my apartment I would go nuts. Thankfully where I live we don't have any bugs. I am totally not a bug lover. The fun of living in a big city though is very attractive. I was raised in Philadelphia, PA. Yes there we had to contend with roaches but there was always so much to do and see. My favorite was always going to the Museums. Thank you Alexis for the wonderful vlog. Have a good one.

Omg! You caught the roach?! I usually just throw my shoe at them and hope for the best… usually it works…
But roaches that size are usually from outside… you might want to check for an holes near the radiators in your apartment as well as the entrance door.
i get so scared to crush them in case they have eggs!
@@alexiseldredge omg! But that is even more reason for me crushing them and then take them to the garbage outside 😳 While they are alive the eggs will grow, I think.

Is it better/easier to audition in person or video?
there are definitely pros and cons to both, but i think in person auditioning is easier because you can just show up and leave it all in the room. video auditions give you the chance to perfect it, but it takes a lot of energy and money for it to maybe not be seen.

i'm curious for auditions, do you have to learn a new song / monologue / choreo from whoever wants to hire you to film or do you choose something yourself usually?
it depends! usually i have to learn a new dance for each call, but i can typically sing songs i already know
