If you feel you could replace your old addiction with a new one. If you have a fear of it, I would not do it.
At least not so early in your recovery from Kratom.
With that said, congratulations on day 18!! 🎉

Your right I am thinking to quickly I need to take one process at a time. I’m always looking for instant gratification but I am happy with where I am now! So blessed thank you so much @savyalexus3355

I've been around a lot of drugs since I was 13 yrs old & tried some out of curiosity in the past, I've also observed people who have become addicted. My opinion regarding the subject is that drugs/alcohol change a person.. their mind, body, emotions, perspectives etc.. everything about a person is different in that moment and in the long term when they take substances. and what's best is to instead allow yourself to be naturally yourself. Exercise, be in nature, meditate, nourish yourself with whole foods, fill your mind with knowledge & experiences, and allow your own body/brain chemistry to balance, heal, enlighten & transform you. And just be your true self, the way you were made to be. I guess, what would you want for your babies? Maybe that's the way to look at it for your purest answer 🤍

This was so wholesome and eye opening thank you so much. You’re entirely right! This made me want to go take a nap in the woods.

Micro dosing can be a great tool. Just do your due diligence in research. Current studies show very promising results for things like addiction, depression & PTSD. As long as you are doing it for the right reasons it will most likely be Anti-addiction. Even a macro dose one time but it will require a lot of preparation. The more the better. Journaling before & after can help a lot too to identify & process old traumas.

Since the first time I tried psychedelic mushrooms, my life has significantly changed for the better. In 2017, I consumed 2.5 grams of Golden Teacher mushrooms while sitting on a couch with a friend, listening to Pink Floyd's "The Black Album." That night marked the beginning of profound personal growth and change. Although it's hard to articulate exactly how, it felt as though the experience provided me with deep insights into myself. I struggle with depression, but whether I take a microdose or a larger dose of mushrooms, I notice a substantial improvement in my mood in the following days-much, much better, indeed. So, yes, for me, using mushrooms has truly worked wonders.

Good to see you doing good 👊. Watching it made me wonder if you feel extra pressure not to have a relaps, because of your viewers? And about your Q: Im not a doctor, but self medication is always risky. lets say a person's mood can be scaled. -5 to +5. -5 being super depressed, 0 being 'normal', and +5 being overly happy/high. If you want to self medicate (result: nr goes up), you HAVE to know your 0. Your friend probably does (he's been sober, you said), but i dont think you do (coming off a longtime addiction)? No offense meant, ofc. Take time to get to know your 0 first, then decide if you want to try, would be my advice. In general, postpone important decisions for a while, till plan A worked 😉👍.

Thank! I feel no extra pressure from my viewers at all. But I do feel pressure from my health my sanity and my children/family. And thank you so much for your comment it is very insightful and think you helped make up my mind I need to just balance my brain chemistry back to normal myself. Let’s just stick to plan A first! No offense taken at all I really appreciate your opinion and comments !

I feel like microdosing is a tease for me…I’m an addict so I like to do everything to the extreme. I tried to do it but eventually went to a full on trip and realized that I wasn’t doing it to help with depression but bc I wanted to “feel” something…. But whatever you feel like you need to do to help with depression I 100% back you…… I would give quitting kratom a chance. you may feel that after a certain period of time from abstaining will slowly help your depression

I have been taking .3 every so often. It helps and makes me snap back into a caring heart. But man it resonated with me deep when you said to take it just to “feel” and you’re 1000% right I haven’t given quitting kratom enough time!

Its different for everybody but i think as long as you are accurate with your microdoses then give it a go!

Congrats bro. How long did it take before you were able to fall back asleep. Even if it was a few hrs. How long before the restlessness started to become bearable?
