I had the fortune of spending some personal time with Big Ron O'Brien. He was a very sweet, smart and fun guy to hang out with. He was great help to me when I started the GayRadio program on KWIZ 96.7 FM Orange County / Los Angeles in 1994.

I found KFI way back in 1970. Being on the road a lot, I loved talk radio. This clip was from the short few years when they tried to become a music station. Many will disagree, but I'm so glad it went back to a talk station and here I am 53 year later still a loyal follower of the station. Side note, RIP to Brace Wayne the air traffic guy that lost his life in a crash a few short years later.
