    • @darkfeenex1121
      @darkfeenex1121 8 месяцев назад

      yes but lets be honest theres two problems with all these picks, 1) as good as all these picks are, you can only sign so many players and you only have so much cap space. so you kinda have to be smart with these picks, yes you could use these picks and stuff for other small pieces but a small warning that all these picks can be just as bad as it is good. 2) im not sure how long a young team could wait with winning a championship. young players kinda wanna win now or soon so i feel like some of these players kinda need to be really successful like within the next few seasons. like if a team like this isnt winning a championship till 2030, theres no way the players are gonna stay and wait that long
      but in saying that, yes all these draft picks are insane and theres a lot of opportunities even after this current team if they were to start a rebuild or something like in 2028-2030

    Shai and Chet have superstar talent and are both efficient offensively and great defensively which makes everything so easy. And JW and Giddy have borderline all star talent with Lu Dort having all defense talent. Absolutely scary. I see WC for them only losing to the Nuggets but they’ll get over them in a year or 2 once Chet takes that next leap.

    The OKC Thunder have all the ingredients to winning a championship, the same ingredients that the Denver Nuggets had last year (and still recouped this year minus Bruce Brown). The Thunder have a superstar leader in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (who I’m not the biggest fan of but is one of the most consistent players in the league). They have an excellent supporting cast in Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, Josh Giddey, Jaylin Williams and Luguentz Dort.
    Jalen Williams might be the most underrated player in the league. He is incredibly good on both ends of the floor and easily the Thunder’s 2nd best player. Jalen and Chet has been the primary difference this year as to why the Thunder leaped from missing the playoffs last year to currently being the number one seed. They have a highly defensive minded coach, Mark Daigneault (his last name might be the hardest name to spell). The coach is mostly unproven but he will get his first real opportunity this year because he originally inherited a bad Thunder team. If the Thunder maintain home court advantage in the West, they will be a tough team to beat because they can beat you in so many different ways. The reason why I believe they are for real is because they are one of the few NBA teams left that actually play defense. They are 3rd in points scored among all NBA teams at 120.7 ppg…and they are 5th in points given up at 111.2 ppg. Their margin is nearly +10 ppg.
    You’re not going to go in OKC and out score them. That seldomly ever happens. That’s why I believe they are the current favorite even over Denver because Denver currently doesn’t have home court like they did last year (even though Denver’s home court with its altitude is the best home court in the league). If OKC holds to that very tight-raced number 1 seed, I believe they will go to the NBA finals. As far as beating Boston, I don’t think so because Boston has home court. I’m predicting Boston vs OKC this year with Boston winning it all. I can’t see another outlier disrupting everything like Jimmy Butler did with the Heat last year.

    Stop it with the hype. Let ‘em alone and stay out of their heads SA. Very nice words to spread but the Thunder are best when they are in their bubble playing with a high degree of chemistry. Keep the doubters coming with their comments about a “lack of experience,” because a razor focus is the counterbalance to that claim.

    Thunder Vs. Pacers in the 2024 NBA Finals if both teams' paces pick up and stay consistent. Not to knock Celtics because they're another force to be reckoned with but honestly the West is a tossup outside of the Thunder & Nuggets. If Lakers make a move and get one more piece maybe??? Then again, we all can guess all day but what if the damn Heat sneak into the finals again? 😅

    SAS, if you want to enhance your brand, you should embrace the small market teams that are emerging in the west. Denver, Minni, OKC … stop the negativity about these cities not being NYC, Miami or LA. Go to Denver and check out black history in Five Points. Embrace the exploding food scene there. Hang out at Aaron Gordon’s club. Do the same in OKC. It’s not about “you do you” BS, it’s about having an epiphany, opening your mind, embracing the new. You would double your audience.

    FYI. Saying allegedly isn't always a magic shield against getting sued. It all depends on context, you bring up the accusation out of the blue like you did in this video (even with the word allegedly) and a good lawyer could argue defamation.
    I know of someone who at my old work who settled out of court for exactly that reason (perhaps not worth the fight, perhaps could have lost, but I'm pretty sure he had to pay the other guys lawyer fees). He said, "i said allegedly," to something that later the accusation was found to be false, but lawyers were saying but the way you said it was obvious you wanted to make a point of it.
    I'm sure giddey has enough money to hire a very good lawyer and since has no charges against him. Look back to your statements a month back and tread careful, i don't want you to get sued.
