Porsche 911 993/996 Tiptronic black leather steering wheel full restoration

This genuine Porsche steering wheel came in via my "Post and Restore" service. It was severely worn and with heavy cracking to the leather.
Using the professional restoration process (www.leather-re...) I restored the leather back to how it would have been using the same methods as were used during its original manufacture.
After chemically stripping away the old coatings on the leather I was able to chemically strengthen it and then fill the cracks with specialist leather fillers.
Four fine layers of black leather colourant (British Standards wear tested) were applied and then four very fine layers of the clear satin finish leather sealant.
The steering wheel was then couriered back to the happy customer.
