Ford Fiesta RS Turbo grey steering wheel leather restoration.
I've restored quite a few of these rare Ford Fiesta RS turbo steering wheels over the last few years. The Ford grey (does have some blue in it) leather does not wear / age well and after all these years they can look very poor.
Fortunately the leather is great quality and restores well.

This lovely Ford Capri 2.8i was being retro fitted with a 1980's Ford Cosworth steering wheel. The owner had purchased a used steering wheel with obvious damage. The steering wheel was repaired and the existing leather restored back to near new condition, in my opinion better than new in the 1980's. I hope you enjoy the before and after photos. Regards Colin.

Over the years I have restored hundreds of leather steering wheels, as long as the stitching is mainly intact the existing leather can usually be restored back to near new condition. This Porsche specialist had a customer with a totally original Porsche SC, they were very keen to keep its originality but to get the leather damage and wear repaired. I restored them back to nearly new condition ready for many more years of use and enjoyment. They say we don't own a Porsche, we are just custodians, very true in this instance. Regards

This Tan leather was well worn. I sent a piece away for the colour to be spectrometer and then mixed. I used this leather colourant to restore all of the interior leather pieces. The result was a transformation of the interior.

This Jaguar E type had been restored in the 1980's and re-trimmed in white leather which now required full restoration. This classic Rover came in for leather restoration of the front seats, back seats and door grab handles. The original leather on this Jaguar was worn and ready for restoration. Using the professional restoration process (www.leather-restoration.co.uk/example) I restored the existing leather back to near new condition.
