These have always looked great to me. Theyre clear and have a great display look. Morw polished look. I just got the softball size for future preparation, it came with the black stand to display. Why doesn't anyone mount the black plastic stand to the bottom of the enclosure to finish off the look? I plan on hot gluing it this way.
Andrew's Tarantulas Yeah, he/she is a fast little critter. It was funny to see it speed off onto the carpet and then drastically slow down. Too bad I didn’t catch that on camera.
Another item you can pop in there is a small bottle cap of oatmeal. Slings will eat this to supplement their high protein (eg. crickets, meal worms etc) diet. Add a drop or two of warm milk in the winter months, being sure to switch it out every couple of days.
Awesome, I really like my pink toe. You may or may not already know this, but online care sheets and most pet store advice are pink toe killers. See Viper29s post on this thread. It is a great resource: arachnoboards.com/threads/avicularia-husbandry.282549/#post-2461399 If you already have Avic. care down, I apologize for the unsolicited information.
I love the "hiding" position. Absolutely adorable. I've never seen a baby tarantula and I'm pretty darn tickled ♡♡♡♡
It’s pretty cool how creative you are with this! I would have never even thought of using a piece of a top for a water dish.
Love the way you did that enclosure.. you made it very appealing to look at.
I’m in Utah!! West Jordan! I just got a Brazilian black sling today from pets n such💕
close one, looks like the little fella could have hit turbo on you. Nice care taken not to hurt the little guy.
It may have hit turbo, but then it was confronted by CARPET! Slows smaller tarantulas way way down, Haha!
