Bands like bfmv, trivium and killswitch had a way of doing the whole sing/scream thing and make it sound organic and not just thrown in there, sick melodeath riffs and great drumming and overall performances. Such a great year for heavier bands hitting the mainstream

I hate myself for not finding Bullet until December 2017 (my original song is "The Last Fight"). Every song I find I love, as new as Gravity or as classic as The Poison, is awesome.
I discovered this song and band on the SAW lll soundtrack when I was a pre-teen and it has never left my head since. This song is the maximum representation of what metalcore was. Pure 2000s atmosphere and totally nostalgic. It takes us directly to the time when we were happy discovering our musical taste. Bullet For My Valentine was one of the fundamental pillars in the construction of this musical genre that marked an entire generation and this song is an anthem of the genre, the solo and a riff is a work of Metal art.

It feels like I am 15 or 16 years old listening to that song now i am now 20 years old almost 21 years old and I still listen to that old school metalcore song never gets old it's a classic metalcore song still the best
I absolutely loved this album, and I never really gave their other albums a chance until recently. I'd say they are nearly on par, some songs being on par, others being under par. Should give them a fair chance at least, I'm glad I did.

His voice definitely sounds different now. Even I somehow dig the young teeny Matt vocals. But his vocals are far more better in my opinion. They're more powerful, they're healthier and they sound Matured. So it's not a bad thing after all

A friend of mine shared a link to Waking The Demon and it made me interested in BFMV. I bought their 1st album and I listen to it on my way to the office every day.
When they played this in Houston last year I was singing every word and Matt pointed at me with devil horns and said “you fucking rock!” Best concert I’ve been to hands down, missed the $200 meet and greet though

I absolutely loved this album, and I never really gave their other albums a chance until recently. I'd say they are nearly on par, some songs being on par, others being under par. Should give them a fair chance at least, I'm glad I did.

His voice definitely sounds different now. Even I somehow dig the young teeny Matt vocals. But his vocals are far more better in my opinion. They're more powerful, they're healthier and they sound Matured. So it's not a bad thing after all
