- We fell further behind Manchester City at the top of the table after a disappointing afternoon at Emirates Stadium.
Following a first-half of few chances, the visitors went ahead through Julio Encisco, heading home from close range after we failed to clear the danger.
We couldn’t get our passing game going for any extended period throughout the match, and conceded a second when substitute Deniz Undav pounced on a mistake to lift his shot over Aaron Ramsdale.
There was time for Brighton to add a third in stoppage-time, when Pervis Estupinan bounced his shot into the net.
It was only our second home defeat in the league this season, and leaves City three points away from the title.

As a Liverpool fan , I have mixed feelings. Watching another year city go through despite the resistance from other teams. Also , proud that my LIV team did gave fight to city till the last matchday twice and finished 97/99 points without winning. Tells a lot about the mentality.

Credit to them but as we've seen with Arsenal all season, it's easy playing when there is no pressure on. Brighton have nothing to lose and nothing to gain. Lets see them play their 'passing from the back' (which they got lucky with quite a few times) when there is something on the line. They'd crumble.

Not only does the money Brighton potentially gain from playing in Europa League would help the club financially. The opportunity to play in europe would help them attract talent to their team. This could drastically affect their club development in the coming years. So, with all that at stake, Brighton did well this game and deserve the win.

The sight of all those "loyal" Arsenal fans abandoning their team and leaving early was despicable. They've had a great season, 15 points ahead of everyone else, and don't deserve to be disrespected like that by their "supporters".

To be realistic, there was nothing on the line really. We have essentially nailed 2nd position and even before this match, virtually everyone understood there was nothing to lose or gain in winning or losing the game. The players look deflated but also lackadaisical. It was over before this game. Formality match this one.

My little Brighton what a beast you have become! I can still remember those old days and Championship Manager game and how I had to edit my whole team to just drive you into Premier League because lil Brighton was struggling in League 2 (4th English league)... Dayuuuum! They really do play beautiful football nowadays and I'm so proud to be a fan of such a seemingly small club that raise to incredible and extraordinary heights in such a short-ish time. I have to say that I enjoy watching them play in every match, win or lose they are just giving it all out there. And kinda sad for Arsenal fans, this season was heartbreaking for you guys in the end. Big congrats to both Manchester teams for doing what they were suppose to do and God damn I love Premiership, this was a fun season. It's been 2 seasons we've been bottling up at the very end but with different reasons. Playing just EPL games and losing focus is really worrying thinking that we have more leagues and cups to play next season. Hoping that next season we'll focus more on sustaining the victory! COYG🔴⚪
