Bro you are watching on City’s channel so you don’t expect to see everything in arsenals favor..even the commentary was kind of one way 😂 Gunners for life
How did you guys leave out one of the major talking points of that match? Those tackles by Kovacic on Ødegard and Rice should make up any highlight video of that game
Bravo Saliba, in this video we don't see how he managed to annihilate Haaland, make him completely silent, he didn't exist with 0 expected goals... In the 37th minute after a corner Saliba managed to cut the line Haaland's run going deep for a counter-attack and I celebrated it as a goal because it was a very dangerous action... But during the whole match I was wary of Haaland, you can't see for 70 minutes, and if a defender has half a second of deconcentration, he kills you with a goal, and Saliba was concentrated for 95 minutes, he even managed to discourage Haaland where at the end of the match he was doing less and less less calls for balls, because he knew he was going to have the French on his back...Really a benchmark match not only for Saliba, but for the entire defense.
The way they pass the ball around Man City if you start chasing the ball your in trouble. They don't have to run fast they just let the ball do the work. Arsenal had fast defender's that could keep up with the pace of the play and close it down just before they can shoot. Such high technical football. If you have played the game with a good team you can appreciate the high level football each team played.
That's the only criticism with Arsenal for me tbf. This season they're building from the back so slowly that only precise crosses give us goals. I want to see pacy team goals
Who else heard the commentator here say;” the young pretenders😢 attempted to dethrone the champions” I’m in tears 😢😢😢 Now I need Arsenal to beat them at Etihad. Pls Arsenal❤
City put up a shocking line up in such an important game. Pep is a brilliant manager no doubt but makes crazy decisions in big games. I know rodri is missing but he even made city more weaker with that lineup. No natural wingers only made haaland more ineffective and starting lewis in such a big game is crazy. Arsenal won not playing at their best and still played better than city sums up City's performance.
How better could the line-up be? The back line was just great, especially Gavrdiol. The main problem visible was in the DM. Phillips showed that he is not the man in the matches against Newcastle and Nott'ham. So the options were between Kova, Matheus, Bernardo and Lewis. Bernardo was an easy choice. Lewis, on the other hand, had a great night mid-week and Pep hoped that he would play that good against Arsenal as well. Rodri is the best DM in the world, it's almost impossible to replace him in transfer window let alone with players within the squad. 8 games played with him and 3 without him, won all eight with him and lost all 3 without him. It's now obvious why Pep never gives him a break. And as for the attack, I believe that Pep was aiming for a draw. I don't think that he really envisioned a win, and he nearly got away with it but for the extremely unlucky deflection.
watching as an Arsenal fan. I noticed that they seemed to have cut both of the Kovacic challenges which should have led to a red card, seems like a clear deception of the facts in the game to make city look better.
I don't understand the emphasis on deflected shot in this and the shorter version highlight. Seems like trying to downplay the goal or even the defeat.
Arsenal were on the ascendancy following City's substitution of Alvarez and Rico Lewis. Foden was poor, he ran without end product, Haaland was isolated, quiet. Philips should have played instead of Stones. If City had converted their first half chances, the script would have been different. Overall, Arsenal deserved the win.

I am an Arsenal fan. City is the best team from last couple of years but we outplayed you guys. We deserved that goal. especially after that double tackle that deserved red in first placez
There is a lot of ingenuity and skill that created the opening for us to score the winner albeit with a touch of luck. The pass by Partey was imaginative so was Tomi's run which afforded us a split second more of time than a simple pass. Havertz showed remarkable ability to keep possession under serious pressure by Ake who sussed out the danger right away so did the rest of the City defenders in the box. Once again Tomi put the City defenders off by moving away form Martinelli's line of vision therefore creating a small opening stopping the City defence from getting into a compact shape.
If thats Arsenals way of "outplaying" another team, go for it. Arsenal prolly desvered the win yes, but you didn't outplay city in any department, both teams was very solid at the back. How is everyone so sympathetic to City? They litteraly can buy any player in any position. Mind you, they still got Calvin Phillips on the BENCH. They missed Rodri and KDB, we at Arsenal missed a fit Partey, Martinelli and Saka while Timber is out for a long injury. Martinelli came on and played despite his injury. City has cover for Rodri and KDB. City has 2 world class players for almost every position. Why is anyone feeling bad for them or making the excuse they miss players? Isnt Pep supposed to be the master genius where all players want to play for? Give Arsenal the credit they deserve because we BEAT City fair and square. City Has the biggest squad depth in football history, these excuses are PATHETIC.
I'm starting to think that Arsenal use deflections as a tactic… think about it against man utd they had one, against spurs they had one… and against us they got 2 deflections one here and the other in the community shield… I can't help but admire how genius that tactic is
@@diggadie1878 You make your luck, you don't get a lucky goal knocking the ball around, only by taking a shot on. City only had 4 shots all game, should have had the same player sent off twice for 2 automatic red card offenses. Ake's stunning headed goal saved the ref and VAR's jobs. City were the lucky team this match, without the refs this would have been a drubbing and we would be above Totteringham today.
I still know that City will win the league. Pep is just a serial winner. Even in times of doubt, he always has something up his sleeve. I have watched Pep long enough (from his era at Barca, Bayern and now at City) to know that the season is too early to think of writing off City or to say that Arsenal will win the title. Anyone who thinks like this, seriously don't know Pep very well.

I'm starting to think that Arsenal use deflections as a tactic… think about it against man utd they had one, against spurs they had one… and against us they got 2 deflections one here and the other in the community shield… I can't help but admire how genius that tactic is
Hmm I don’t think you can train on that is more luck than anything else.
You have to shoot to score. Try doing it more
Well, we can't bung the ref and VAR so we have to think outside the box.
@@diggadie1878
You make your luck, you don't get a lucky goal knocking the ball around, only by taking a shot on. City only had 4 shots all game, should have had the same player sent off twice for 2 automatic red card offenses. Ake's stunning headed goal saved the ref and VAR's jobs. City were the lucky team this match, without the refs this would have been a drubbing and we would be above Totteringham today.
Lol where do you get these brains?
Where is Saliba boding Haaland to the ground. That is the most satisfying moment of the game.
Arteta has already beaten pep twice this season already now that the personnel is more on a level playing field. Come on now
@@applenuts doesn't mean anything on who will win the league lol
@@ryan5847 yeah except if arsenal had beaten city just once last season it would mean city finishing on 86 points with arsenal on 87. 🤣🤣🤣🤡
@@ryan5847You guys won’t be able to win the title after a treble. With the smallest squad of the big six, you ain’t got a high chance of defending it.
That's music to my ears. I know that too.
As an LFC fan, I must say - if not my club, than Arsenal should win PL. They deserve it. Enough from the ManCity.
😂😂😂😂😂you can call it deflected goal all you want, but the fact that you got deflated
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 pls don't mind him he's just joking...
Well. City need to know that the ball did not deflect itself alone. The goal is a by product of a coordinated Arsenal effort.
😂😂😂
losing 1-0 is getting "deflated"? so when you lost 4-1 in April I'd say that was utter humiliation
@@KristianPny😂😂😂😂 cry cry cry
As an Arsenal fan, I'll be calm about this. It's not like we're dominating or surpassing City anyway, it's just two best team in the league with great defensive display, and sometimes the underdog got lucky, just like that
You lost because your commentator called us young pretenders
Sometimes, DON'T believe what you see...
On this evidence, anyone would think that City had 99.999% possession cos the way this has been edited uda thought they were playing Kidderminster instead of a massively improved/ impressive Arsenal team.
Think it was 51-49% possession t City 0-1 chance created by them no matter HOW much this video dresses it up into brainwashing us that they dominated from minute 1.
That call from the ref literally threw the match. Tough! Incredible pace and skill from both teams.
you mean the kovacic sending off?
Shocking commentary, never seen anything more bias in my life
We should have signed Maddison instead of Nunes..we lack a creative mid,we really need a creative midfeilder. KDB and Rodri's absence is a big problem for city .we will come back stronger..come on city💙💙💙
Rodri took time to get better. Let's just give them time and keep supporting simple.
@@masterchief1520 i dont meant that bro..i was just saying that we need a clear back up for KDB...Nunes,Kovacic are all good but we need more creative midfielders like David silva,KDB etc..City is struggling with out KDB..Haaland is not getting much ball..
Nunes just started his career in city it will take time to adopt 😁
No nutmeg of doku by Benjamin
Gee, I don't remember any Arsenal fans commenting under the videos of the previous 12 games between the two. Wonder why...
Gee, but you have us commenting here now. I wonder why
They are riding this more than their 5-0, 3-1 and 4-1 defeats. I bumped into the Walker incident, Ben White went to shove Phil Foden after they caught hands last season. 💀 That apparently wasn't shameful but Kyle's actions were. What a fanbase.
Let them enjoy the victory my bro, they haven’t experienced such since 2015 they’ve really been starving
“Own Goal by Nathan Ake” Title: Martinelli Goal😂😂
Man city love you🎉
Nicely edited , no kovacic red card incident
The lewis goal wouldn't have stood even if the goal was given cause he touched the ball with his hand when he was on the ground
He also belly covered it for a while there , which is also against the rules. It would be a foul given to M. City by necessity
Thanks for this from an Arsenal fan

They're not prepared for City's comeback
Chin up everyone, we will bounce back from this when we return. City know what they have to do now and what better coach, staff and team to do just that. Halaand it's time to go full RoboCop, and Alvarez we believe in you, you can bang 20+ goals we know you can do it
Notice how they don’t highlight kovacics blatant red card fouls
Captions should be, Mikel Oliver did everything to save us 😂😂
Saliba made Haaland look like Nketiah!
when arsenal win :
late deflected strike
when city win : absolute banger😂
Gunner here but I must agree 🤣
You guys are so scary when the squad is operating at 100%! No mercy!
Think many consider City as the spear-header of the league given your experience and creativity on pitch.
Even with a lucky deflection, it means a lot for Arsenal fans to win the game against City given City is probably is the strongest team in the world!
Deflactrd is smart tactic
dont cry
Raya makes a mistake. They show Ramsdale, I'm telling you the media is something else
"Nobody is as good as Ederson in those positions".Really??
Steel Exists mate.😂
1 deflected goal against 31 tap ins Haaland made. As if you always score clean goals. We were playing against 12 men.
COYG 🔴🔴🔴 from Ethiopia 🇪🇹💪🏽🇵🇸💪🏽🇵🇸💪🏽🇪🇹
If you like call the goal any names, you have been defeated. End of story.
And there you have it ; Partey long ball to Tomiasu to Harvetz for Martinelli winning GOAL,1/0 win!!!
"Late Deflected Goal "- "lucky Goal"... you lost buddy suck it up ...
Good to see even the city commentators are salty. That’s why city will remain a small insignificant club. Class is permanent
Thanks for uploading the ext highlights, Arsenal seem don't care.
Gvardiol is acing LB. Love to see
First city video i like 😊
Was so nice
City made big mistakes selling Mahrez, Gundogan.. they were KEY part of the treble.
Will they play for City forever, Gundagon is 33 and Mahrez 32, the coach needs to start building a new team,KDB is 32 and is getting slow.
@@kennedydavids3420 they could stay at least one or two seasons so that the new players can understand the game together.
Arsenal got today, April??I don't know
Everyone knows that City and Haaland gonna comeback even strong on this season.
